For the most part yes. I think WM 17 is the WM 3 of modern WWE. In my eyes, WM 3 will always be one of, if not THE, greatest WrestleMania ever. Simply for the reason it made WrestleMania, WrestleMania. Hope that makes sense. WM 3 was the first WrestleMania to have a main event so BIG. Plus the undercard was awesome.
WM 17 was/is probably tied or just below. It was an awesome card top to bottom with something for everyone.
WM 18 should have been bigger than WM 17 or at least had the potential to do so but was messed up for a variety of reasons.

I think, at least in life, that WrestleMania 17 is pretty widely regarded as the best WrestleMania of all time, at least from what I have seen people say over the last 10 or so years. That Mania always finds it's way to the top of 95% of all Mania related lists around this time.
I think WrestleMania XIX is pretty damn good, and is right there with 17 imo. XX was really good as well, and I think had Lesnar and Goldberg not been a gigantic disaster that XX would be in the conversation too.
I guess the problem with putting 17 at number 1, is that I can't really argue against it. Even if I put XIX at number 1, I would still put 17 at 1 and a 1/2. It really was a great Mania imo.
EDIT: ^^^ Agreed completely on WM18. It felt like a dropped ball in the end zone. It should have been incredible.

WM3 is the greatest WM of all time with the greatest match of all time Savage vs Steamboat and biggest match ever Hogan vs Andre. I find people who were not around for WM3 pick WM17 because you had to be there to understand the greatness that was WM3.

I really think the undertaker va triple H match is highly underrated and is much better than Rock vs Austin

I think 17 and 19 are tied.
17 seems to be the undisputed winner for best WM, but I think 19 matches up neck to neck with it in terms of match quality and star power.

I really think the undertaker va triple H match is highly underrated and is much better than Rock vs Austin I don't know that I put it above Rock vs Austin, but it's a really great match. I think it completely crushes the Mania match they had last year. It's definitely under rated when it comes to Undertaker's complete body of Mania work imo. It really bothers me that they don't even acknowledge it now either.

I'd actually say Taker/HHH from 17 is overrated, though still great!
Wrestlemania 17 and 19 are about tied for me, but 19 always seems a little better overall. But Rock/Austin from 17 is my favourite match of all time.

I think Wrestlemania 15 had potential to be THE best Wrestlemania ever too, if certain matches had of happened.
I still felt that it should have went like this that year.
Rock vs. Triple H for the WWE Title Austin vs. Big Show w/McMahon in his corner Shamrock vs. Venis for the IC Title New Age Outlaws vs. Jarrett/Owen for the Tag Titles Al Snow vs. Hardcore Holly for the Hardcore Title Undertaker vs. Kane in Hell in a Cell X-Pac vs. Test w/Shane McMahon in his corner
I think that could have been a great Wrestlemania 15 if it would have went down that way.
That Mania just didn't live up to that Attitude Era with what they had at that Mania for matches.

No way that WM 15 wasn't going to be Rock-Austin, HHH wasn't even ready for the main event at that point. I'd flip HHH facing Big Show on your card and for Rock-Austin, Mick Foley could've been the referee.

I still think Triple H could have headlined Mania 15. The match he and with Rock on Raw in that "I Quit" match was pretty solid. I think Triple H being a face going in to Mania that year as the leader of DX and winning the belt would have been sweet.
Hell, they could have even did the switch then, and had Triple H win the belt and then align himself with Vince's corporation and Rock could have went face then.

I've always found WM 17 to be a little overrated. It would be third on my list behind 19 and 20, and just barely ahead of 24 and a few others.

Yeah, WM20 might be the most underrated WM.
People push it aside because of Goldberg/Lesnar, but take that match out, and you'd still have a lot of great matches. Both of the world championship bouts were 5 star matches. Not to mention Christian/Y2J, Rock&Sock/Evolution, and the CW open were all great matches as well.

I really think the undertaker va triple H match is highly underrated and is much better than Rock vs Austin This a thousand times over. It in my opinion was his best WM match ever up until he faced Shawn for the first time. Then their back to back matches along with his rematch with "The Game" quickly rivaled that in the eyes of everyone. It's always funny to me reading about how everyone thought it was awesome when I had no clue what anyone thought of it till as of late. 3 was the greatest historically speaking of course. Solid undercard. Amazing IC title match. & a spot filled, emotionally invested main event.

I'll throw in a more modern 'Mania, to say, in Wrestlemania 24. Sure, it's not 'the best,' but it's the best out of the past few years. It had Edge/Taker, HBK/Flair, MITB, Show/Mayweather (was enjoyable), and the WWE Championship triple threat wasn't too bad either. That stage was pretty damn cool, too.

it infuriates me that WWE ignore UT vs HHH from 17.
its in UTs top 5 IMO and I found it better than last year.it was very very heated.
and WM15 HAD to be Austin vs Rock.it was the culmination of Austins journey after being screwed so many times by Vinnie since Breakdown 98.
a HHH vs Rock maun event would have been second fiddle big time.HHHs turn miod card was absolutely shocking and got him the heel heat needed to propel him to the ME.

This year WM28 has the potential to make the top 10. It just needs to deliver.

WM 24 was the last great WM in my books. The arena, the stage, & the pyro really set the mood for an awesome card. WM 17 is my favorite hands down. 18, 19, & 20 delivered as well.
