So, let's say that Undertaker's streak HAD to end. I know there are some people who think that it should never end and, honestly, I'm inclined to agree. But with his match against Triple H coming up, and the past four years of Wrestlemanias, it seems like the only people WWE thinks are legitimate contenders against Undertaker's streak are legends like Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
So, the question is this: Are they right? Is this the kind of thing that's so damn epic that only someone who is a seasoned and established veteran can do it, or would it be a wasted opportunity when it could be used to push someone like Cody Rhodes to the moon? I remember, back in the day, when Orton had the Legend Killer gimmick going, people thought that it would have been a great opportunity to solidify Orton forever (not that he didn't do that on his own later). Just curious what people think, it's something I've been thinking about lately.

It should definitely be saved for someone it can actually boost up.

IF it HAD to end it should be someone young with potential, my choice would be Ziggler or Barrett.

ziggler barrett ..................... no way plz! Bak in the day of randy orton vs taker thats when i thought it was bs that randy didnt win after that rko out of the choke slam..that was the most perfect way to win along with his legend killer gimmick being an amazing storyline for the age in time of the wwe. Yet the ending was still very rememberable showing takers dominance at wm which set the way for future remarkable matches with the question who! can break the streak..anybody?! though ORTONS got a win over the rock at wrestlemania..few can say. like cena orton is better then cena!

I think its to important for anyone to break it. It should be beat by a world champion who has been loyal to the company for years. I think Triple H needs to do it this time and have Taker retire. 19-1 with it taking Triple H 3 tries. Its to risky having a guy like Barrett do it. Or ziggler. These are guys who are still young and easily could make a big mistake and go down hill and go to TNA like Hogan did to WWF back in the day. Either way this should be Takers last Mania. Going out in Hell in a Cell in his 20th Mania match against his toughest nemesis ever. Either should end with Taker winning and Shawn not wanting to make the count or Triple H wins cleanly.

A veteran should do it, if a younger guy does it and leaves the company to go to TNA than the streak was completely wasted

If a young talent ended it cleanly they would potentially be on the same level as Cena in my opinion. I'd like to see Drew McInTyre end it, even though it won't happen. A streak for a streak damnit!!

The problem with getting a young guy to do it, they havn't payed their dues. They might not be around long enough for it to have been worth it.
Imagine having someone like the Miz or Barrett defeat him after guys like Shawn, Diesel, Jake Roberts and HHH couldn't. It'd be a joke, and the legacy is worth more than that.
The only person I could see it being any use for long term would be CM Punk to go with his "Best in the world" thing.

It shouldn't end.
Triple H gains nothing from ending it. 20-0 is much more marketable than 19-1.
A younger guy shouldn't do it because of the reasons Anvil Fan said. Unfortunately, no young guys are good enough right now to end it.

I think a new guy should get to end the streak, Barrett would have come to mind, because it will instantly boost their careers and they can forever be known as the guy to ended the streak.
It could create a main eventer instantly. That being said if that's not the case, I hope Taker goes out winning.

With undertaker getting older, slower and more decrepit as each passing year goes by it feels to me that whoever does finally end the streak didn't get to face undertaker at his best anyway which takes a bit of credibility away from the victory.
So I hope that this years wm match be the Undertakers LAST match! win, lose or draw.
If not then the next year really should be the last and let either CM Punk, Cena or Orton end it. The match would be a huge draw and they are already well established in the wwe. None of them are leaving the company anytime soon.
I don't want a new guy ending it because as someone pointed out earlier if they were to leave or do something stupid careerwise like evan bourne then the whole thing feels tarnished and was a complete waste.

I'm ok with either as long as Taker gets to 20-0. If next year he faces any of Cena, Orton, Punk, Ziggler or Barrett, even Cody Rhodes, I'd be ok with him losing. I think 20-0 is amazing, but he isn't getting to 25-0, so if he loses after that point then I'm ok with that launching a guy or giving a guy who is going to be around for the next 10 or so years the rub.

You need a "Never end the streak" option. Undertaker should NEVER lose at WM.

A veteran should do it. Only because if a newbie ends it and then pulls a Brock Lesnar, than it'd all be for nothing.
And don't think for a second Undertaker doesn't have say in who or when the streak ends. If he doesn't want it to then it never will.

Ziggler or Barret? no.. Somebody like Dean Embrosse... He's pretty much Raven/Stone Cold Steve Austin re-incarnate. That's the kind of guy that could come in hot and stay hot for a long time.

IF it HAD to end it should be someone young with potential, my choice would be Ziggler or Barrett. lol, no. If the streak had to end, they should end it against a future face of the WWE. Only someone who has the potential to get as over as Stone Cold deserves to end the streak.
