I assume this goes in the Classics board because he's a legend but I just wanted to ask, what happened? Why was he fired?

Probably because he made his debut looking like complete crap, put on sub par matches, and was a exciting as drift wood on the mic.

I read somewhere that Chris Harris only got over in TNA is because he did sexual favours for some one in the TNA management. I am not sure how true that is though of course.

Just came in here to post my favorite Braden Walker video since drifter already said the reason I've read.

The best thing about Braden Walker was the following he attracted on the internet. It actually would have made a 1000x better gimmick than whatever he had: awful wrestler who thinks he is a star.

I think the thing was while he was in TNA as part of Americas Most Wanted everyone kept going on about how if AMW break up Chris Harris will go on his own and be a huge star. Everyone was blowing wind up his ass and making a big deal which is what cought WWE's eye. Then he came to WWE and he was just nowhere near all the hype people were making about him. Since his AMW days he'd gained weight and just wasn't delivering in the ring, I think they just decided to pull the plug since they had plenty more people who could deliver and plenty more people in development who could deliver. I also heard he was very unhappy in WWE, maybe his negetivity rubbed off on a few officials who just thought, it, if he doesn't want to be here then lets grant him his wish. Its a shame that he wasn't the same Chris Harris from 2004

Americas Most Wanted were a great tag team.when they split Harris looked like the one who would be a star for sure........
then he put up an assload of weight and started to look like shit.then Vince puts him on TV like that.....another great Vince decision.
he should have accuired AMW as a tandem to rebuild his shameful tag division.

He got fat. He didn't try. He retired. He returned to TNA, they saw he was fat, he didn't try, he retired.

LMAO [/endthread] I loved AMW but Harris screwed himself by not showing up in WWE in the best shape of his life. I have to think that AMW could have come in as a team around the same time and both guys could potentially still be around today. Glad it worked out the way it did though because BMI was amazing and now Storm and Roode are insanely important as two of TNA's top guys. I'm comfortable saying James Storm has been 1/2 of two of the greatest tag teams of all time.

The things that always made me laugh about after WWE canned him, was that according to him, it was all WWE's fault. They were the reason he fell on his face with his brief run. None of it was his fault, it was Vince and WWE that screwed him.
