Overall, it was a pretty good show. I'd give it an 8/10.
But I still disagree with the guy who said this PPV would change wrestling forever. I didn't understand that than, and I especially don't understand it now. Maybe he was trying to hype himself up, I don't know.
The WWE did nothing to make sure the people who tuned in for the Rock would return once hes gone. Bryan got buried, Sheamus didn't get a chance to showcase his talents, and neither did Rhodes with an opponent like Big Show. With all these major stars gone soon, the WWE really has the same guys to rely on once again. Cena, Orton, and Punk.

Really enjoyed this years WrestleMania, this is what I though about each match:
Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan - The build up of Bryan's heel character has been amazing, and I was disappointed when the match was only under 20 seconds long, either way, Sheamus winning the World Championship was the result I did want, even though I do like Bryan as World Champion
Kane vs Randy Orton - Wasn't the best match, but it was still enjoyable to watch. Surprised Kane won, as I though Orton was for sure going to win that match
Cody Rhodes vs Big Show - Really wanted Rhodes to retain the Intercontinental Championship, but judging by the way they have been building up this match for Big Show, I wasn't that surprised they gave him the win
Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs Beth Phoenix and Eve - Wasn't even interested in this match, the result was predictable from the start
Triple H vs Undertaker - Really, really enjoyed this match, will have to say this was better than last years one. All the close calls had me on the edge of my seat, glad to see Taker go 20-0
Team Johnny vs Team Teddy - Some good spots in this match, and glad to see The Miz go 3-0 at WrestleMania, and to see Team Johnny win
CM Punk vs Chris Jericho - A WrestleMania match I have wanted to happen for a few years now, and it didn't disappoint, didn't mind who won this match, but Punk winning did make more sense
The Rock vs John Cena - Another match I really, really enjoyed. Again, all the close calls had me on the edge of my seat. I was quite surprised Rock got the win, as I did predict Cena was going to win

Apart from The Rock all my predictions were pretty much correct which was awesome.

I still can't get over how good Triple H vs Undertaker was. Bravo Bravo.

Good 'Mania this year. The three big matches were all great.
Wish the WHC match hadn't of been a squash, would've liked to have seen Sheamus and Danielson go at it.
Glad Kane won over Orton, but he'll more than likely get beat by Orton soon enough.
Also glad that Big Show won. It's cool that he won the Intercontinental strap at The Show of Shows.
The Divas match wasn't terrible, it was alright.
Undertaker and Triple H was the MOTN. Good match, better than last year's. I liked the ending of this one.
Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy, typical 12-man tag match. It wasn't bad.
Of course Punk and Jericho was good, I knew that was going to be a good one.
And of course Rock and Cena was good. Didn't care for the ending but what the hell can you do?

Triple H vs Undertaker was really well done. There was a lot of emotion for me during the match. At one point I felt sorry for the Undertaker, then Trips, then even Shawn. The ending was very fitting for the tagline "End of An Era".
I enjoyed Punk/Jericho and Rock/Cena. Felt they lived up to the hype. It's a shame the WHC was a squash though. Oh well, the story with Bryan seems to be unfinished, so this could be a good thing for his evolving heel character.

I thought this was either a hit or a miss show, in regards to the matches.
Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus: I was telling some guys who were watching with me that this should be a good one, how good Daniel Bryan was. They were making fun of Sheamus' skin, I told them Daniel Bryan has stiff kicks so Sheamus will bruise really easily. Then Sheamus kicked Bryan in the face for the win in seconds. At least my friends got to see Sheamus bruise his chest from pounding it after he won. Have no reaction to this match, just hope Daniel Bryan can recover from this humiliation.
Kane Vs Orton did nothing for me. I knew they had no chemistry coming into the match and when it was over, I knew I was right. Orton should have won this, the fans love him and would have been better for Orton because I doubt Kane will be pushed. Match wasnt very good, the chokeslam from the top was even a little anti-climatic. Oh well, wasnt expecting much here. Totally should have been a gimmick.
Rhodes Vs Big Show: Really troubled here. If Big Show was going to win the title, they didnt have to bury Rhodes like that. Rhodes was showing clips of how Big Show was a laughing stock at Mania, it would have been so fitting for Big Show to just knock Rhodes out in 10 seconds, giving the WHC more time for some action. I cant see why Big Show needed to win this in an actual match, but whatever. The match wasnt very good anyway.
Divas match: Uhm was okay I guess. Maria was in obvious pain. Beth looked like she was trying really hard to make the match look good, really like seeing that out of her. Ok ending, just happy it wasnt a stupid lumberjill match that was like 1 minute long. Did no harm, so Im fine with this.
Now for the good stuff, HHH Vs Taker in HIAC: Wow! Great match, truly a great match. These guys did something last night that cannot be duplicated. With what looked like no intentional blading or chair to the head shots, they put on a brutal breathtaking beatdown of a match. I couldnt believe Undertakers back after Triple H gave him the beating. These guys put on a fantastic match with AMAZING story telling. Ending was fantastic, Shawn really played his part perfectly. Couldnt really ask for more.
Team Johnny Vs Team Teddy: Going into this I couldnt see why this was done the way it was and I still cant see it. Should have been a 4 on 4, more serious match. This is for the GM of both shows dammnit. Nothing exciting in this match, was just a joke. Sure Miz winning was nice but thats all. I wonder what happens with Teddy.
Punk Vs Jericho: This match was the 3rd best match to me, only because the story telling in UT/HHH and the atmosphere for Rock/Cena. Technically speaking, this was the best match. I really wish they didnt add the stipulation before the match, so they didnt have to play off of it but they did a nice job so it wasnt so bad. These guys are two great wrestlers who just need the time to be able to put on a great match. This was one of them. The frankensteiner off the top into the Walls was crazy, as was the Lionsault into the Walls. Punks springboard that was reversed into the Code Breaker was pretty awesome too. The false finishes at the end was really entertaining and the ending was great where Punk changed his position so Jericho couldnt knee him. Satisfied with this one.
I have no words as to why Brodus Clay was on Mania. Took up time that could have been used better.
Now for the Main Event.
Everybody has their taste but I thought the live performances added for a much better reaction for the entrances. You have MGK singing the song that just totally personifies Cena ATM. And then he took a shot at The Rock, 'this is more than a match. Tonight we witness the biggest Ego get beat by the biggest underdog'. The place erupted in boos. Out comes Cena to the same but louder reaction.
Then Flo Rida performs Wild Ones, which IDK this song to me just fits The Rock. Now Flo Rida is from Miami and they mentioned that so that was a good little pop for him. Got the crowd going for Rocks entrance. When Rocks music hit, the place went apesh*t. I jumped out of my seat, was so awesome to see Rock at Mania again.
The match was great. Though I hated how Cena sold the initial lockup throw by the Rock. Rock sold his by getting flung by Cena and Cena just rolled on the mat when Rock threw him. But thats just me being nitpicky. The match was so awesome to watch with people. We all went crazy for Rock doing his antics. Crowd was great and just what we have been missing for some time. Match could have used a table spot but whatever. I thought it was over when Rock jumped off the turnbuckle and Cena rolled through for the AA. So happy Rock kicked out and hit the Rock bottom minutes later. Such a great feeling and sight to see Rock with his hand in the air, that music playing in the back at the end of a Mania, even for one last time.
Overall it was a good Mania. That only started once Undertaker/HHH started, everything before that was really bad. Rock/Cena, UT/HHH and Punk/Jericho made up for everything else, and was worth the price. I must add, seeing Edge last night, sh*t. His eyed were watery, mine soon followed, had to wipe tears away before they fell.

Okay, here's my kinda belated WrestleMania review/report card.
World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan defends vs. Sheamus Was really psyched for this match to open the show. Got butterflies when Bryan jumped to the ring amongst a sea of "YES" signs. And then... that finish. Disappointing start. Rating: F
Kane vs. Randy Orton Considering the crowd was somewhat deflated after that opener, I thought these guys did fairly well to get the live audience back onside with this match. A few nice spots, and I'm pleasantly surprised at Kane coming away with the win. Rating: C+
Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes Due to my great lack of interest in Big Show, I was pulling for Cody even though I knew it'd only be logical for Show to walk out victorious. Pretty bland match, nothing memorable. Rating: C-
Won't even bother with the Divas match, considering I went out for a cigarette and missed most of it.
End of an Era Match Fantastic storytelling from all men involved. Some really neat spots from guys who clearly look super battered and bruised throughout the match. A nice little emotional ending too. Makes me wonder if it actually is the end for 'Taker. Rating: A-
Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny Boring at the start and then developed into a neat spot-fest. Rating: C
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho I was a little worried about the stipulation being added at the last minute, but they intertwined it into the match really well. I loved the submission reversals as the match was winding down - pure class. Best pure wrestling match of the night by light years. I loved it. Rating: A
The Rock vs. John Cena I loved this match to absolute pieces. The epitome of what a big match should feel like. Great crowd interaction and I thought The Rock looked great from the get-go. I was pulling for Cena, but in the end I wasn't too phased about Rocky going over. If Cena had've kicked out of that Rock Bottom and the match went on another 5 or so minutes, it was entering A+ territory... Rating: A

lets all off. Would have swapped the WWE title match and HIAC around because the title match was flatter than the obvious motn, unreal - the cell kept everything feeling tense. WWE title match was always struggling for me because Punk winning was a total foregoner, good but nothing special. John Cena and passing the torch towards him shouldn't exist in a thought or sentence so that and him, pissant. Solid match but not the spectacle, sheer nutters would insist it was and great that Rock won, clap clap E you gave us something to smile about the damn thing. Well ing done WWE, you amaze....AND sleep at night. I'd of been looking for my refund after that opening match, an absolute disgrace - beyond belief, I gave it 3 mins and it went beyond the stupid. The fact that every other match, every other segment on the show lasted longer than that did is what is wrong with it. They had the time in hand and spent it on promoting Extra. Some thing proclaiming John the ultimate underdog read ing bullcrap, the epitome of aggravation. Deadliest catch.....woo. The rest, i mean that tag match, JL is likely in charge for all of month at best before it is rendered pointless and they made Ryder look stupid then strong and awesome and then ridiculous again. The troops. The F19 or w/e pilots, the ba* pish weve all seen a hundred times. The ranting sucks, but it was an awful decision. Awful. I can't remember much of anything I haven't mentioned, that opener was ash in the face. YES YES YES YES. Oh yeah, brodus clay. Oh no no no NO. Holy crap. I legit have no clue what the it is you're trying to say, I'm a couple of days late, but LMAO.

I've been extremely busy, but it's finally time to post a review.
Bryan vs Sheamus- What can I say about this stupidity? The fans hated it and now Sheamus is paying the price. Inexplicably bad booking.
Kane vs Randy Orton--decent work, but the match lacked anything unique.
Big Show vs Cody Rhodes-- good storytelling, but both guys could have been involved in bigger things.
Undertaker vs HHH-- not an athletic masterpiece, but both guys gave it their all. This was about as good as in-ring storytelling gets and HBK should get credit too.
Team Johnny vs Team Teddy- terrible storyline and a waste of several talented guys.
Jericho vs. Punk- a slow start, but it turned into a solid classic-style match. The ending was very nice.
Rock vs Green Lantern errr...John Cena. Better than I expected. Cena screwed up with the silly on-the-mat bear hug and the blown leg drop (he NEVER hits that cleanly) but good work overall. I'm still not a huge fan of the Rock Bottom, but it worked well in this instance.
Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. There weren't any 5-star classics, but there were enough solid matches that gave us our money's worth.

I'm pretty sure I was the only one to fall asleep during the Jericho/Punk match. - spiraltap2005 Why? It was the 2nd best match of the night imo.
