Just curious who do you think was the best (or personal favorite) classic worker & manager combination? Topic is pretty self explanatory. My Pick: Undertaker & Paul Bearer

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. They were fantastic together.

Straight away I thought of Perfect and Heenan. What about Slaughter and Adnan though - they make me chuckle when I watch them now. Slaughter's chin is massive as the General rants to the camera. Pure gold.

Honky and Jimmy Hart. Growing up watching Jimmy Hart i always thought he was irritating as hell, but now i really appreciate what he brought to his charges!

some GREAT combos listed here and yes this is a great idea for a thread+1 to Bash.
nearly impossible to argue against Bearer/Undertaker.it was nearly 6 years of partnership and when Bearer turned on him at SSlam 96 it was a savage shocker IMHO.totally underrated as one of the biggest heel turns ever.
but there are strong contenders......my runner up is Heenan/Rude.they complimented each other SO well and when bobby said in his shoot that Rude "hated having a manager and didnt want anything to do with him"I was totally stuck to the floor with shock.

Well ego being what it is in the wrestling business I can sort of see Rude saying that personally. Plus, Rude was a good talker so he probably didn't see the need or want a manager stealing his thunder. They were fantastic together though.

For me its a tie between these 3. Undertaker and Paul Bearer Bobby Heenan and Mr. Perfect/Andre The Giant Paul Ellering and The Road Warriors
Honorable Mentions to Macho/Elizabeth and JJ Dillon/Four Horseman.
