what were pipers comments anyways? I forgot exaclty what he said but he was critical about some of the storylines including the Zack Gowen one i believe. After this he was fired by the WWE and Sean's push was immediatly stopped. The whole thing about him getting released out of the blue still bothers me. The guy was obviously on his way to big things. He was given wins over Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Hogan, yet right when Piper was gone he was almost immediatly taken off of SD. Had he stayed around I still believe that he would have won the US Title from Eddie Guerrero instead of the Big Show, gone into a feud where he put over Cena at WM20, and then possibly could have won the WWE Title in 2004. The guy could have been the #1 heel for years w/ his Devil's Advocate gimmick.

what were pipers comments anyways? Piper did an interview with HBO where he stated that "his friends were dying and nobody cared" and that "the promoters run you into the ground until there's nothing left and then you die". Something along those lines...

Yeah Piper talked openly about steroids & death in wrestling.
Those promos really were intriguing & had some potential no doubt.

I am sure Sean O'Haire didn't get the push either because Triple H wanted Batista to be the main guy with muscles and tats to be the man.
Mark Jindrak stated in a shoot that he was supposed to be in Evolution, but Triple H opted not to use him and use Orton instead. Triple H really has the final say.

squashing ken kennedy squashing funaki early heat match with stasiak vs crowbar ugh...seeing these matches all over again makes me epic facepalm. i was a HUGE o haire fan, and IMO, after piper and the velocity streak, they shoulve moved him into the US title frame. IF he was still holding momentum with the fans, he shoulve held the belt for a good streak. holding an undefeated title streak in the US division would have given him a good storyline opening for a world title shot atleast. and like i said depending in if he still held momentum with the crowd IMO couldve held the belt for a few months.
