Here are the teams I voted for and the reasons why:
Wild Samoans - 3 reigns totaling 429 days.
East West Connection - a great reign that lasted 279 days.
The Strongbows - although their reigns were not long, they did hold the straps 2 times and had a bitter feud with Fuji & Saito in which they exchanged the straps twice.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito - 2 reigns totaling 353 days.
The Dream Team - A 226 day run that ended at Wrestlemania 2.
British Bulldogs - Won the titles at WM 2 and held them for 294 days.
Hart Foundation - held the belts 1 time in the 80's and the run lasted 274 days.
Demolition - 2 reigns in the 80's for a combined 550 days, including a 478 day run that was the longest of the 80's and remains the longest of all- time.

Demolition was such an awesome team I had to vote for them. The 80's had a bunch of great tag teams.

Brain Busters Hart Foundation Demolition British Bulldogs Samoans Sheik & Volkoff Adonis and Murdoch Dream Team
It's really a shame that the Rockers couldn't be included in this or the 90's poll. Essentially, one of the greatest tag teams in history who get neglected because they never technically won WWF Tag Team gold together. I would say they were easily one of the greatest tag teams of the 80's, albeit not all in WWF.
