I can understand the WWF wanting him to be like HBK, due to his look, and ability to bump, but he had no charisma, or mic skills to make a HBK like push believable, and at a time when they had so many Maineventers already on the roster there was no need to push him any further down people's throats.

To keep on topic with pushes that ended early, Test should have had a match against Triple H at the 2000 Royal Rumble after the thing with Stephanie. Test just went into the shadows during the HHH/Stephanie takeover which didn't make sense at all. I'm not saying that he should've won the title, but a grudge match between the two would've been good. I swear Triple H was not a fan of Test. Think back to 2001. When Triple H was injured, Test started to do a lot. WCW Tag Champion, WWE Tag Champion, IC Champion, winning the Battle Royal at Survivor Series so he gets immunity. Then when Triple H came back, it was like Test just because a jobber, or a thug for the UnAmericans. Let's be honest, Triple H has done more bad for the WWE than good. He was clearly out for himself, and probably won't be happy until he is the only wrestler in the WWE.

He was clearly out for himself, and probably won't be happy until he is the only wrestler in the WWE. The same can be said for others as well. Both Test and Jericho were getting over in late 1999, but were basically stuck in mid-card hell from 2000 until HHH got hurt. Once he did, both got huge pushes, like Test winning a few mid-card titles and even feuding w/ Taker and Kane, while Jericho became a multiple time world champ. Once Hunter came back, they were both back to jobbing in the mid-card in no time. I know alot of people wern't fans of Test but I enjoyed his heel work from 2001-2003. Underrated big guy who never seemed to catch a break.

Ehhh...Test got a lot of chances and pushes without getting much of a crowd reaction. I always liked him until his terrible ECW run where he was jakked on steriods.
