Booker however I will agree with completely. I would rather have a 2001 Booker with no extras than King Booker with the crown and stuff that will just get thrown in a bin. Heck, he was a 5x WCW Champ, give him a WHC belt Couldn't agree more. I'm gonna slap on a whc n throw the crown n stuff in my parts bin. |

Mattel as we know is continuing it's Legends lines partially through Elites as Elite Flashbacks, and Booker T and Bossman meet the usual criteria for WWE Mattel legends: 1. Non-iconic look 2. Or attire they used for a short period of time The Bossman is definitely in his iconic attire. A plain-looking black on black SWAT Bossman is not how he rose to be who he was. He wrestled in a lot more Wrestlemanias in that attire than the SWAT. As for Booker T, though, I agree. I would have loved a Booker T with a nasal strip, do-rag, and a Harlem Heat type outfit. |

I already pre-ordered Elite 14 Booker T, Big Boss Man, and Basic 17 Alex Riley.
Will get the basic 17 Miz and Ryder and probably the elite 14 Rock.

heres how i see each figure,
Elite 14 -
The Rock:When Jakks had the line i always wanted a Rock with full samoan tats. we got one with the RTWM rock, but not in his wrestling attire. now finally we have one. i love everything, except the headscan, something is off about it. i think it needs a beard. but still a must-buy. the shirt and glasses are a great bonus too. i know alot of people will complain about the rubber shirt, but it looks really good on him IMO.

Alberto Del Rio: I love the attire, but the headscan is horrid. i will now have to buy it and an extra basic del rio to do a headswap

John Cena: I know alot of people will complain about another Cena, but e need one in his new colors. i like how it looks, im not a fan of the removable armband, it just seems to be useless. I love the headscan though

Undertaker: When i first saw the pics about a month or 2 back i thought it would have pants not tights. its still a good figure, but it is the exact same as E1 wth an E8 head and a new removable enterance attire. unfourtunatly i will have to buy it just for the attire because it looks great

Big Boss Man: I usually like to really find something to critises(sp?) but i cant with this one. i like everything from the attire to the size to the headscan. plus the accesories. AND FINALLY HANDCUFFS FOR FIGURES!!!!

Booker T: Unlike many other people i actually liked the king booker attire. Sure i would like a harlem heat flashback, but id rather them do a 2pack exclusive so we can have stevie ray aswell. anyways back to the figure, i love the attire and the robe... BUT.... i hate how when you remove the cape the hair is just standing like that. it really takes away from the figure

overall the elite im most disappointed in is alberto del rio. his headscan is awfull.

Mark Henry: Meh, i mean its way to plain of an attire. the headscan is too....IDK...weird.

Alex Riley: The attire is great and so is the tatoo on his back but Mattel has yet to get Alex Riley's head scan right

Dolph Ziggler: I dont know what it is but mattel just cant seem to get zigglers headscan right. something is off. other than that its *chuckle*perfection *chuckle*
Zack Ryder: I really want to get this but the headscan is a real turnoff. i would get it and do a headswan but both ryders already out are so hard to find that it wont be worth it

Okay the elites are awesome but unfortunately I won't be getting any until retail. I love the B17 Miz figure it it awesome! What happened to Zack ryder though? He looks terrible and how could mattel not include his headband!?

The head on The Rock seems a big too small. Or maybe it's the fact that the neck isn't thick enough....Dwayne Johnson in real life has a really thick neck. Also....the face isn't exactly the best either. I'm hoping we get a better head scan of the The Rock sometime soon.

His abs are better than the torso they gave his figure, and his arms are bigger than at any point in his full time career, and his torso mold needs a thicker neck. The legs are fine. Also with the rubber shirt mold....I usually hate those, but I actually think that rubber shirt will look good on the TRU exclusive WM27 Rock. I think a rubber shirt and cloth pants on the same figure looks bad because obviously cloth and rubber are two different materials with two different looks and feels. But on the WM27 figure with the pants molded on, the rubber shirt will probably look good. I will put the "I BRING IT" shirt on the Elite 14 Rock figure with the cloth pants. |
