Jobbers made you appreciate the good matches between stars more and made events like Wrestlemania better.

Very true, PPVs feel more like over hyped RAWs that don't deliver.

Jobbers made you appreciate the good matches between stars more and made events like Wrestlemania better. exactly. for example we will look at the last Royal Rumble. Punk vs Ziggler was on paper a great and exciting match BUT the novelty had LONG worn off it after they wrestled 3 TIMES en route to the Rumble on Raw......

If it matters to anyone...
I saw a "Barry Horowitz" sign while watching Cena/Rock vs. Awesome Truth on blu-ray last night.

Yeah I do miss the jobb's.I remember back in January 1993 the day after Royal Rumble 1993 in San Jose I got a card listing autographed by Robert Thompson who had teamed with Kelly New after they got squashed by the Headshrinkers at a SuperStars Taping. The Jobbers did build alot of talent up leading into those superstar vs superstar matches on SNME OR PPV.
