You guys don't understand that this is what the WWE wanted. They wanted Jericho to come back as a heel and knew everybody would be cheering for his return nonstop no matter what he did/said. What's the best way to get the crowd to boo him? Not say anything at all. Now we'll all tune in next week to figure out what the hell happened and why Jericho is back. It was different, yes. But I wasn't disappointed with it.

Give the Jericho return time before crapping on it. I'm sure what he did tonight was all part of a bigger picture. Next week he can continue to say what he said during the last year of his wwe stint. Everyone is a bunch of mindless sheep who follow instead of leading. He basically proved it tonight.
Just the fact that Jericho is involved means its going to be good. Jericho doesnt putz around in boring storylines.

Exactly. He still gets his big return pop, but gets to be heel. I remember him talking about how when he returned in 2007 as a face, he started to fall into the midcard and needed a gimmick change to stand out. Becoming heel was perfect, and I'm sure he will return to that. |

I thought it sucked, massively sucked. Maybe it will make sense a week from now or a month from now but right now that was dogshit. If I tuned in for the first time in a long time to watch tonight, I wouldn't start watching again, ever. The crowd stopped caring because he was out there so long. Maybe that would have been fine if it was half the time but what a disappointment after such an awesome video build. I mean it's Jericho, so I'm happy to be patient but I can't imagine how the casual audience took to that move.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I kind of get what they are going for. He's likely going to be a heel as the story plays out. But on the other hand, I feel like this is the first RAW of 2012, there has been months of buildup, and the rest of the show wasn't so strong. Maybe you just be straightforward and actually do something, rather than plant seeds for later. All night this was the only segment is was pumped for, and then nothing happened. It soured me on the whole show. Plus, wasn't Brodus Clay supposed to be on the show this week? With all these false alarms I can't see any way there can be any hype for his re-debut. He has to just show up out of the blue one night.

I can't say I'm overly impressed with how Jericho returned. That said, I'm sure that's exactly how we're all supposed to feel right now. Now we're all eager to tune into next weeks episode.

I think it was a great return. He managed to even get his huge fans on the internet to hate his return. That's probably EXACTLY what he wanted to happen. He knew by not saying a word and really doing nothing would be the only way to get people to actually boo him. Jericho is a genius, he knows what he's doing. Jericho is the king of trolling.

F*ck this, i've got two horror exams next Tuesday so I won't be tuning in. I was so excited for tonight as I was expecting all the loose ends to be tied. Now I wish it was ABA Taker.

Hopefully next weeks Raw turns out to be better than tonight's Raw.

People keep failing to realize that the basis for this campaign was "It Begins". Not "It's just 1/2/12". Anyone expecting all the answers tonight have no one to blame for being upset but themselves.
Next week is just as intriguing as this week was, because now we get to find out what the hell he wants.

I'm just wondering what we should expect from a Punk/Jericho feud. They're both intelligent promo men who are great on the mic and call the people around them out on their lack of authenticity. It almost seems like they'd agree with each other on everything and have nothing to feud about.
