Oddly the first thing I thought of when I saw the topic was "Nasty Boys." Took a while to find them, but once the toy store here got them, god they had them forever. Ricky Steamboat was quite the shelf warmer, which made me not want him for some reason, wish I had gotten him now though. I vaguely remember Piper being a shelf-warmer as well. So was the Randy Savage in the jacket. Jim Duggan was too, badly. The Mountie was a pretty big shelf warmer too. Toyland was the only place near me that sold them, so I was pretty much out of luck on wrestling figures after they went out of business during the time the set with Giant Gonzales came out, so I never found Red Cards or Green Cards. This is just random ranting from my vague memory of being that young.

This may sound off-topic, but it's not. I don't know if this is the case for any of you, but do you have any stores around you that haven't restocked their CS figures for months and months because they're still clogged with several pegs full of Fabulous Moolahs? That's exactly how the stores around me used to be with Hasbro Rockers. They were at the local Hills and KB stores for years, and ended up getting so beaten up that there was little of the cards left. I think I ended up getting several sets of Rockers when Hills went under for about $1 a set. I was still finding Hasbro Rockers up into the early BCA days; no joke.
Also, my KBs were clogged for quite some time with 3 for $10 bins full of foreign language red-carded Hasbros. I know that for a very long time, all the Hasbro figures I saw were foreign Bret, Bulldog, Undertaker, and Bossman 2.
The hardest ones to find for me were Rick Rude, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and the green card series. Nasty Boys were also pretty tough to find, as were Luger and Bam Bam.
Oddly enough, I was only able to pick up the rare ones when my family went on vacation, so most of my Hasbros have stories behind them and I can remember vividly where they came from.

Chiming in kind of late on this one but it brings back a lot of nostalgia... I didn't collect Hasbro back in the day (not WWF at least... all the money I got went straight into GI Joes), but the massive shelf warmers I always saw were the Rockers (surprising), Bushwackers, Bossman, and Doink. I always wanted Hogan and Warrior but there was no chance of finding them.

I was lucky enough where my mom used to work for Hasbro when their factory was located in Pawtucket, RI (the main offices are left now in a separate building on Newport Ave). They had an employee store located on the far left hand side of the building. It wasn't marked but you needed an employee badge to make a purchase. My mom (unfortunately) didn't take me there too often, I think I've only been in that store maybe 3-4 times.
I only saw WWF figs once on those visits. I remember vividly that they had plenty of Jake, Rowdy, Hacksaw, Bossman, Warrior, Beefcake, Virgil, Hogan, Steamboat, Snuka, & Million Dollar Man figs. Anything else they maybe had one of (I only remember an Akeem & Kamala)...but the one's that I listed contained multiples. I winded up getting Ultimate Warrior 1 and my brother got Brutus Beefcake 1 on that visit to the employee store. The only tag team sets they had were the Rockers & Bushwackers.
