Owen's heel turn.
But tonight, when Cena costs Ryder the U.S. title and turns heel, that will be my favorite heel turn.

As countless others have said before me, I'm going with Hogan.
Hollywood > Hulkamania.

HBK when he superkicked Hogan before SummerSlam.....such an underrated heel turn in my opinion. Even if it only lasted a few weeks I was gonna say this as well. I thought it was a great run, and a shocker when he hit Hogan with the Sweet Chin Music. Another would be Randy Orton's heel turn before he face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania RKO to Stacy Kiebler set off a nice lenghty heel run for Orton leading him to where he is today. Cody Rhodes turning on Hardcore Holly was great, unexpected (by me at least).

The thing about Hogan's turn, Heenan ruined it literally like 10 seconds beofre it was to happen. The footage will always be that, and the viewer will always know the outcome 10 seconds before it happens. No idea what mines would be, will have to think about it, maybe Austin at WMX7, maybe Taker in 2001, maybe Rock in 2003. I hear that about Heenan's comment a lot but when I watched it I took it as Heenan bad mouthing Hogan like he always had. It didnt dawn on me until Hogan walked a circle in the ring like a bafoon that he was the 3rd man

its always gonna be Hogan......jesus I was blown away when I seen this.I always thought Bret was gonna be the 3rd man because he had dissapeared after WM12.I had no idea it would be Hogan.even Heenans statement didnt ruin it for me.
another shocker for me was HHH turning on X-Pac at WM15.as the leader of the incredibly over DX Army he was the second most popular face behind Austin IMO and there were NO indications of his turn....especially since Chyna just rejoined DX early in the night.

Shocking one for me is an odd one
The Coach.. I don't think anyone predicted that. And it was so well done because one minute EB is begging Shane, The next from out of no where WHAM !, A chair shot. The camera is on Shane for a good 10 secs before its revealed Coach with the chair in his hand and the look on his face was oscar winning. No one saw it coming unless i missed something as i didn't get to watch RAW much them days

It has to be Hogan, no doubt, I don't think any heel turn has made such an impact in wrestling as Hogan did when he turned on savage and formed the nWo.
Another one for me that deserves a mention is Shawn Michaels giving Marty Jannetty the sweet chin music and putting him through the barber shop window.

Savage turning on Hogan is my number one. It may not have been the surprise other turns have been, but the whole angle was done to perfection, including that.
Shawn turning on Marty is also up there. That one made me mad as a kid because I loved the Rockers, and Marty was my favorite.
Owen's another that I reacted big to when it happened. I was really happy they'd made up and were going for the tag belts and was sad when that happened.
I understand why a lot of people said Hogan, and in a grand scheme I kind of agree, but on a personal level it just didn't do much for me, probably because i already didn't like him at that point.
