I really think this deserves it's own thread. Yes i always bring up inaccuracies, everybody here probably knows me for that.
But this is different. There are a ton of things left off these figures, but i never did make a post on it. The Rockers always had tassles like the Warriors on their kneepads, not to mention there were tassles on the actual tights.
I got over that pretty quickly. But now they show us something in protos and than take it away? This was low. I absolutely would have held off on these, or never even bought them if i knew this.
$43 shipped for figures with those crappy kneepads and the removal of these belts. How can they justify that price with this removal?
$30 was worth just the shirts?
All this corner cutting is really making me want to take on a new hobby.

Well that sucks. On MattyCollector, the MOC pics doesn't have the waist belts either.....

It's still more accurate than any other release of the Rockers we have got from other companies (hasbro and jakks).

Well the price of the item was $30, which is what these sets cost at retail. Considering the extra effort that went into making these I could easily have seen the asking price for what was shown in the protos being $40. Plus shipping would have put them at $50 which would have killed any chance of them selling. Cutting corners to get an item in the hands of consumers is just how business is done.

Hopefully our boy Ralph can make these belts!
I'm making these accurate one way or another. Just wish i didn't have to invest so much money into fixing things up to my liking. But i guess thats how it goes.

Still upset. Yellow is cool, but I expected green. I ordered 4 sets of something that looks completely different from what I envisioned. :/ lol. Oh well. I'm just glad I am getting The Rockers. Yeah that's kinda disappointing those belts aren't included.

Like i said, hopefully Ralph will make these ropes.

Yeah, it's disappointing, but I'll survive. I might try and fix them up. But if I head down that road, I might just change the tights all together, and I don't know if I feel like doing all that.
Yeah, it sucks, but they'll still look good on my shelf, so I'm happy.

Now that you mention it, but on mattycollector it was already gone in the MOC picture...

Could it be that what the WWE shot (or Adam Bomb as they look like his work) were given early production pieces that didn't have the belts yet? I'll wait until Monday when mine arrive before I get worked up one way or the other

That does suck considering these things are $45 per set shipped locally in the States (and astronomical for us International folks).
The leg sleeves are killer though - but I have medium black knee pads to replace them. Did Shawn or Marty ever wear white pads while the other wore black pads in a match? I'm thinking L4 Ultimate Warrior's white knee pads with tassles might look really cool on one of these guys.

Isn't waist belt a little redundant?

Eh, I'm not too picky about how they look. At least they're colorful and unique and not dull. Especially when the same can't be said for about 50% of the Legends line.
