What was your favorite classic wrestling tv show intro?
Here is mine from Monday Night Raw in 1997. They had just changed to Raw is War and used "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson before switching to music made in house.
I still love this intro...this to me is the turning point of professional wrestling. Plus Ahmed Johnson kicks a dog.

I think that Beautiful People was by far the best theme to a classic wrestling show, it was just so hard. I like the video for 1998-2000 better, however.

The song during the opening is "Thorn In Your Eye" which was produced by WWF and included on the Full Metal album. The song after the pyro when they show the crowd is "We're All Together Now" and was also produced by WWF and included on the Full Metal album. EDIT: Here's a pic of the album cover. It came out in 1996.  |

1. WCCW opening 82-86
2. ECW This Is Extreme! opening from like 97-01
3. WWF Superstars of Wrestling 1987-1989

My first thought was the Warrior intro for WWF Superstars of Wrestling. When I read ECW above I remembered that intro was what got me back into wrestling!

I don't think I remember that edition of the Superstars intro. Pretty cool! I like the song too! Sounds like the same band who did the D-X song.

DAMN that Superstars intro! I know I haven't heard that one since it aired on TV. I recognized the logo, then the words were coming back to me as a heard it.
