Hey Guys!
Just kidding with the title!
I've spent the last day of my holiday watching wrestling newscasts and talk shows and came across this one. sorry if it's been posted before but thought it might interest you guys.
I've always been interested in how the WWF expanded and was fascinated to learn that in 1985 the broadcast sales for WM1 were $288,000 and the expected revenue for WM5 $27,000,000!
I read several years ago that the WWF had tried to push themselves as entertainment, rather than legitimate sports, back in 1989 and went as far to admit that the results were predetermined. so it was good to watch this to get more information on the subject.
Hope you enjoy and will be interested to hear your thoughts and any other info on this.

Thanks for posting that. I was 11 years old when it aired and I recall staying up late to watch that episode of Nightline specifically for the segment on wrestling.
This is the first time I've seen it since the night it aired. Interesting to watch with the benefit of about 20+ years of hindsight!
