I've recently added the infamous run of ECW on TNN to my wrestling collection.
Even with all of the restrictions TNN put on the company, I found the series to be rather enjoyable. The evil Network angle was very well done, and the company's push of Justin Credible, Rhino, & RVD made for some entertaining TV.
So.... What are everyone's thoughts? Did you find it enjoyable, or did you prefer the Hardcore TV days?

i ing adored ecw on tnn, and just can't believe people didn't watch it over wwe and wcw. it's so much more of a credible product, and it was revolutionary. too bad it had such terrible exposure.

TNN totally sabotaged the show, which is a shame because it was great. I have the majority of them on VHS somewhere. Yet another reason why I can never get rid of my VCR.

I think ECW on TNN was ok.....the actually channel of TNN really did screw the company by never running any commercials for it, putting any money into it.
Pretty much every episode of ECW on TNN was a lot of commercials for other TNN shows like RollerJam and Rock'N Bowl......but that's because Paul Heyman signed a bad deal. I think he just wanted so much to get on a prime time cable channel that he jumped at the first deal and really got screwed.

I was at the Danbury, CT taping. That was the week they parodied TNN's move of moving the main event to a corner of the screen, while the aired a commercial. In this case, it was the color bar test pattern. I found it amusing that as they did that, I could stare at myself...lol.

I loved it just because I was young and it was something different.
I still remember like yesterday that it was part of "Friday Night Thrill Zone" on TNN or something...
It was monster trucks, ECW and Roller Jam.
Good times!

I loved it. But my cable company was a douche & dropped TNN from the menu. I never got to see the classic Steve Corino promos.

ECW on TNN was pretty well done considering the fact most of their stop stars had left the company in 1999. Taz was on a few shows, Dudley's were on the first show, then Sabu left, Awesome, Storm and then Raven left again. So I thought for the talent ECW had at the time, they were doing okay with that show.
The only ECW on TNN shows I really enjoyed the most though had to be the ones from the ECW Arena. It made ECW on TNN look like ECW, and not ECW trying to compete in big arenas against WCW and WWE.
