So Mattel runs off the fact of TV time for figures, Correct? So how does Ziggler's new elite come with the WHC Title when he only held it for.......... ... 11 MINUTES AND 23 SECONDS!!!Silly kids on here whine too much about the "TV time" thing. What Mattel meant is that they are mostly making figures of guys who get TV exposure, because fans will be more familiar with (and thus more likely to buy figures of) them. |

For my first Ringside Fest this was awesome. I wanted to buy everything at the merchandise table but I didn't wanna go broke. I just got two Macho King figures. One I kept for me and one I got signed for a friend at work. Since I had a ticket for an extra autograph for each guy I wanted to each have them sign it. Zack Ryder signed it, but then the girl working Daniel Bryan's table screwed up and never gave him the figure to sign. CM Punk signed it and had a funny reaction. He stared at it for a few seconds and goes "Who signed this?" So I said that's Zack Ryder. Then Punk goes "Oh I see. So I guess now I'm supposed to sign it too." Then he laughed and we took a picture shook hands and I left.
All three guys were really cool but Punk was by far the coolest. Zack Ryder was like "What's up bro?" Then Daniel Bryan gave me the "Hey dude, what's goin on?" CM Punk really engaged people in conversation and shook hands with everyone. He started cursing like crazy when my brother was getting his autograph which was really funny. On the monitors the Royal Rumble was playing and when Punk happened to look at it, he was alone in the ring with Daniel Bryan. Punk put his pen down and was like "When the f*** was this? I don't remember this at all. When the f*** did I have a match with Daniel Bryan? Can someone tell me when this was? I really don't remember this." Then someone told him it was Royal Rumble and he goes "OH it was the Rumble. I was gonna say I knew I never had a match with Daniel Bryan in WWE." Then he picked up the pen and started signing for my brother and says to him "I am losing my f***ing mind man."
As far as the new stuff goes, I was really impressed by what was on display. Walking in, the first thing that caught my eye was Brodus Clay. That is a beautiful figure. Then of course I saw King Sheamus, then King Booker, and then the King of Kings Triple H which blew my mind. Michael Cole was really cool as was the entire set to build him. I won't have any trouble building Cole since I'll be getting that whole set. There were tons of other cool figures there which I'm still processing in my brain. The Q&A was pretty cool and the design team seems like genuinely nice people. The test shots they showed were amazing. The RSC Exclusive is a must have for me. I thought it was pretty funny that while Tim Ash was showing the MOC version, Bill was trying to put the jacket on the loose version and he accidentally snapped the leg off.
All in all it was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. The one thing I learned for the future tho is that VIP is worth it. My body is still so cold from waiting outside for so long. Also, to those of you that were there, am I the only one that thinks the girl that was working the will call table was really hot? I noticed Ciapetta spent quite a bit of time talking to her. For those that weren't there, you will probably see her on Zack's YouTube show this week. Ciapetta spent some time interviewing her. I almost marked out right in the beginning because the first person I walked past when I got in was Tom. I wanted to challenge him to a battle of the best sideburns but then realized that I trimmed mine for a job interview lol.

I didn't get in until like 9:45. I was so cold by the time I got in, then once I walked through the door a huge blast of wind hit me. |

NOW i can start collecting basics.... Basic Legends! Bret, Eddie, Shawn Michels, macho man, warrior. I am not in to collecting 2 of the same figures with diffrent articulation(waste of space and money) but Wow repaints and diff head scans on some, I am sold!
