This board is too 'cliquey' to have something like this and I think we saw a prime example of this right here. If the voting is going to go for a couple more days why is Mikey, the thread creator, making a comment on another board and trying to influence the voting. No matter how you spin it, thats exactly what he did bottom line. So I cant vote for who I want because Mikey thinks someone has a crap show? And he recruits people to vote for anyone besides a guy he doesnt like thus tainting the voting? This thread should be locked simply because of the tainted voting right now. If you think there is tomfoolery going on in the voting, you go on another site and encourage people to do the same? Welcome to the ciquefed board! lol! |

Some people can have great poses but long shows.. Some can have great poses and shows that are just long enough VIA highlights too. That can old a persons attention. |

I don't think Mikey's move is shocking, he just got caught with the steel chair in his hands. I'm sure many will resort to friends and allies (and parents and dogs, again) to help boost their position in the poll. Of course it doesn't make him look too good since he is the one behind the poll, and we should expect best behavior, at least from him. Then again, ROP is not the one in the lead or tied up for it. Benji is getting benefited from all of this, I don't think anybody ever talked this much about KoH, and right now, this has to be the most fun thread to follow. Me, I already got my pop corn and a nice chilled beer to enjoy the show, bro.  |

Wow...I'm just now seeing this poll and all the happenings....
Here's my take on the whole thing. People have brought up the fact that the poll should include only full shows, which I agree with. Now in response to this, people are saying that some people cannot do full shows because of time or boredom or whatever, and to that I say, it shouldn't be easy to become world champion. Especially if we are having two belts: one could be for full shows and one could be for highlight shows. This way, shows will get votes not because they were longer or shorter, but because they were better. Anyway, hopefully this first poll works itself out and show type / length can be taken into consideration for the next ones.

Shows are shows. PPVs, TV, Podcasts, IPPV's, whatever. If theres a camera, figures and a structured storyline, its a show. Someone could make 4 shows a year, and someone else could make 40 podcasts. It shows the same dedication to the cause. We are all pic-fedders here. Just because someone has the patience to sit and film a 100 man royal rumble doesnt mean they should automatically take priority over someone who has made 4-5 'podcasts' in the same time frame. CGJ took years to make his latest episode of HLW, and it was fantastic, but does that automatically make him Pic Fedder Of The Year? Petty arguments and people taking crowns like this too seriously almost destroyed this board before, if this is how people are going to react then why are we doing this? Its a  ing stupid idea anyways. |

I understand some fedders deserve more praise for their work, but not only do awards like this seem to turn everybody against each other, but they undermine the shows that do not finish so highly in the vote.
And they almost always turn into a popularity contest!
Its a great idea, but its not for this board. If theres going to be a Pic Fed World Title, base it on views and replies. At least then if somebody wants the crown bad enough they will up their game and advertise their show, bringing more viewers to the board and ultimately it lends a helping hand to all the great feds on this board, and it makes for exciting viewing.

But why is people being so immature about it all? I mean its just a board...
I like the idea of the board.. But who gives a crapif Ben wins? I'm pretty sure he will retain his title with Dominant anyway...

Dude, where have you been? We needed you to come here, fly down from the rafters, clean the ring, hit some Scorpion Deathlocks and lay down the law! Anyway, it's good to see ya back, man, limited appearances or not, I for one think you've done a pretty good job as a Mod and you're not supposed to be God anyway, seeing it all at all times. I personally believe the big, sad argument already passed and people are putting on their shows and we are back to biz as usual. I'd say let this poll run its course, let's see who wins and then maybe Stinger can figure out a cool and harmonious way for the Champ to defend his title and prove he is worthy of having and holding on to the strap. Think about it, maybe something like whoever wins HAS TO put on a show to stay in the run, or his title will be vacated, something fun, cool, interesting and that won't become a silly fight. Will let everybody think about it a bitsie. |
