Hi all, I think it was on WWE Vintage last week or the week before but it showed Demolition's Smash (Barry Darsow) on the front row from a WCW show in the mid nineties. Can anyone shed further light of his time in WCW and did they try to do a take on Demolition at all (i.e. get Crush (or Ax) in to team with him)? Thanks guys

as in being in his Demolition attire?
I remember Darsow interrupting matches by blowing a horn but he was in his blacktop bully persona.

as in being in his Demolition attire? Sorry I wasn't very clear - I didn't mean so much the attire but wondered if Crush was involved with him in any way like a feud or teaming up. Did he have any notable feuds? I'd never realised he'd been in WCW until I saw it the other day.

Didn't he have a golfer gimmick as well? as in being in his Demolition attire? I remember Darsow interrupting matches by blowing a horn but he was in his blacktop bully persona.

The original plan was to have him called "Stewart Pain" (as a play on words of the pro golfer named "Payne Stewart"), but they changed it for some reason. One of the worst gimmicks EVER!

Ah, "Mr. Hole In One."
Did he team for a short time, in WCW with John Nord aka The Berserker, as well, when he was just plain Barry Darsow?

Payne Stewart died in a plane crash in 1999 I think. I know he was using the gimmick around 98-99. It was likely changed after Stewart died.
