This was the big draft for the league I have been doing since 1991.
I had the #3 pick. Vick Went #1 overall, which shocked most of us, especially since it isn't a QB heavy league. We also do a 3rd round reversal, which shakes up the draft a little.
Anyway, it's a 2 RB, 3 WR, IDP league.
QB - Joe Flacco QB - Sam Bradford RB - Chris Johnson RB - Matt Forte RB - Michael Bush RB - Daniel Thomas RB - Javon Ringer RB - Roy Helu WR - Desean Jackson WR - Dez Bryant WR - AJ Green WR - Robert Meachem WR - James Jones WR - Deion Branch TE - Vernon Davis K - Rob Bironas DL - Jared Allen DL - Donkey Kong Suh LB - AJ Hawk LB - Curtis Lofton LB - Lance Briggs DB - Devin McCourty DB - Bernard Pollard
Not thrilled with my team. But it is a very competitive, deep league. QB's went much faster than normal, which left me in a very bad situation there. But, on the upside, I got two great Defensive Lineman, which are hard to come by. Obviously Ringer is just a handcuff, and I only took Briggs as a last round flyer, because we have a limit of 6 RB or WR, and he will probably be cut shortly. Other than my starting RB, and DL, I'm not really thrilled with my team at all.

dline is strong, and mccourty is one of the best cbs in the game, but is still unproven enough that you might be able to get 5 picks out of him. depending on how much tackles are worth... you could be hurting with that lb corps, but im sure waiver guys will be plentiful for you to grab.
i dont think your o is as bad as you look at it. if you dont get one of the top 5 qbs (rodgers, vick, brees, rivers or brady), you could do alot worse than what you got. i spent all year last year playing the matchups with flacco, ryan and later on garrard... you could do alot worse than doing that with flacco and bradford. especially since im fairly high on bradford... perhaps higher than most though.
rbs, youre a mcfadden injury from having the best group in the league likely. even without it, johnson and forte should be great, and i expect daniel thomas will become the workhorse in miami shortly.
and receivers youre fine with... and i dont even really care for aj green. branch should catch 50 passes if not more, jones and meachem are in high throttle offenses, and jackson and bryant should both go for over 1k.

Yeah, linebackers are a dime a dozen, and the point difference between the number 1 and number 30 linebacker is pretty small, so I drafted them late. Several linebackers always come out of the woodwork on the waiver wire, so I plan to cut someone once they do. I'm not big on Green either, and I'll probably start Branch over him this week, just to find out what I have with Green. I am pretty high on Bradford, and I know Flacco will be a pretty regular 15 points a week. Once the top QBs went, I had planned on grabing Big Ben or Freeman, but someone snagged him, so then I waited, and decided to take the two middle tier guys before people drafted their backups. I think I'll be ok playing the matchups with them. I am high on the running backs, especially with McFadden's injury history, and I think Helu and Thomas will be getting a lot of work later in the season.
