Was Bossman the one who threw Taka out of the 00 Royal Rumble that had Lawler laughing?
Bossman should've retired around that time and he would've left a massive evil heel. I think the Survivor Series 99 match ended too quickly and like Honkytonk Man exiting at the first Survivor Series Bossman left but the Big Show fued ended as well without a bang despite how crazy it was. He was given the term Bossman heat, go away heat or something. It couldn't have helped to have him team with Bull Buchanan. He certainly didn't get over with Truth Commission so why keep bringing him back. Did B2 get over with John Cena? I don't remember.

Big Boss Man was one of few wrestlers who could main event and not need to have the title to get over. To list a couple that worked heel main event and either never wore the WWF or IC title or did not during that run would be. Big Boss Man,Jake Roberts,Roddy Piper. Piper did win the IC title later in his career but not when he was a heel main eventing Wrestlemania with hogan.

One of the greats. Big Boss Man was actually my very first wrestling figure ever. Hasbro with "Boss Man Slam!"
It would have been cool for him to have won at least the IC title. It's amazing that a wrestler as well known and well liked as Boss Man only won a major title (the Tag Team Championship) 1 time. He's one of the guys I miss the most in wrestling.

What annoys me is the fact that he never was given an official finisher/a finisher that was effective-looking. People say it was the Bossman Slam, but I don't think he did that often at all in the WWF. Plus, that was essentially a sidewalk slam, not really that effective. I loved his stuff from his original run in the WWF though. Bossman slam was his move dude. During the 80's the finishers were all basically like that. I think the move was fine. he's a big dude and looks like he's driving the wind out of his opponent.

On the other figs board someone posted using Mountie and Bossman hasbro's as a team. That would've been an interesting team if Jacques was Mountie two years earlier while Bossman was heel. I think Akeem was a strange partner, he belonged with Slick but Bossman didn't need a manager or a team partner but two bad officers of the law could be an interesting team.

It's great that Bossman's been brought out in the latest WWE Heritage Topps trading cards with 2 cards, one from his first WWF stint as a babyface holding his ball & chain and the other card representing his swat look from the late '90s! Bossman is also pictured on a WWE Power Chip in the Power Chipz line which are similar to poker chips and are also put out by Topps. He's also in video game form again as a downloadable character in this year's All Stars video game! I just wish that he would get the respect that he truly deserves by getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame sooner rather than later!!!!
