I was actually on the fence myself on whether or not to get this figure. I thought the Jakks scan with big show body fix up was as good as it gets, but as my pictures show I was totally wrong. I'm stoked I decided to pull the trigger and order the Giant, it really is a great representation of the 8th wonder. Glad you guys enjoy the pics and I cleared up any doubt.

Agreed, Andre was never in that good of the shape for the Jakks fix up.

And your pictures prove why the Mattel version is so much better than any fix up.
Man, it's going to be epic when we get a legit Mattel Hogan

That's a great line up on your stands Dean. Looks awesome! Thanks man. Those are the guys that really stand out from my childhood memories. And your pictures prove why the Mattel version is so much better than any fix up. Man, it's going to be epic when we get a legit Mattel Hogan I'd venture to say that the Hulkster will be the all-time highest grossing figure that Mattel makes. I cant wait, its bound to happen eventually.

Andre's a thing of beauty. Thanks for posting this! That new torso ... surely we're going to be seeing a few more Andre figs, right?
And sorry, I'm not completely in the loop, but is Big Bossman at retail yet, just online or from China?

WAAAAY too much beard stubble on Andre, but otherwise it's decent.

Thank you so much for the figs dean... Can't wait for mine to arrive... I wish matte would do that stubble on Orton's beard instead of the full bearded scan... But definitely Mattel's scan is the best compared to jakks...

Looks great! Now it's like why did we love JAKKS? It was just scan after scan most of the time. Mattel actually tries, and I thank them for it

Looks great! Now it's like why did we love JAKKS? It was just scan after scan most of the time. Mattel actually tries, and I thank them for it Jakks were all about face scans - generic bodies that weren't even close to representing the actual wrestler, no scale, half paint - you were essentially just buying heads. But this shows that with some effort Mattel can even trump them in face scans too.

The head scans were what initially held me off from getting into Mattel figures, but they've come a looooong way since then and I think they're really stepped up their game on that front. They're a few that they can't quite get yet like HBK and Orton with the beard, but the Legends especially look just like the wrestler in 97% of the case.
