Work on the movements, smoothness and overall flow, Watch youtube videos on the move your doing get a feel of the force needed to hoist a person over your head and slam them down on your knee.Add more frames to make it run a bit smoother and show what the stick is actually doing!Figure animating and pivot animating are not all that different it still needs that smooth flow and you need to be able to tell what they are doing, that covers all problems I stated also move every joint every frame seems a small thing but makes a huge difference to an animation

Don't understand what you mean by the second part of it, nothing came up for me, Both animations have the same flaws as the first one, I'm going to send you an animation to study learn the movements, smoothness and spacing from there and try another animation and I'll tell you how to improve

Welcome to the board man, so I'm going to reply to the bottom two because their your newest, first off not the most important thing but you should get a proper style, like with this one the lines are crooked, the circles are uneven and overall it's just not very nice to look at, if you go over to the first aid thread there are a bunch of styles and what not that you can download and use. On to the animations, you need to work on your movements, like in the first animation (2nd) at the start the Blue stick is standing there with the arms the wrong way around and in the other animation the Blue stick's knees didn't even hit the others head. As Ethan said try and move every joint in every frame because these are stiff and though your using a fair amount of frames look choppy at time because you don't move the joints. On the topic on smoothness I'd say these are pretty smooth though could use a few more frames. Anyway overall a fair start - at the moment I'd mainly say to work on moving all the joints and getting rid of the stiffness, hope to see more from you!
