- Thanks to Corey for the following WWE SmackDown spoilers from tonight's tapings in Bakersfield, California.
Dark Match:
* Bo Rotunda defeated Joey Ryan.
SmackDown, Airing Friday:
* Tonight's main event will be a 20-man battle royal to crown a new #1 contender to Randy Orton's World Heavyweight Title.
* Cody Rhodes defeats Ezekiel Jackson with the Intercontinental Title on the line.
* Justin Gabriel beat Tyson Kidd in an exciting match, with the 450 splash.
* WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio defeated Daniel Bryan in a non-title match, by submission.
* WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly and AJ Lee defeated Alicia Fox and Natalya.
* Mark Henry won a battle royal to become the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. The match came down to Henry, Sheamus, Wade Barrett and Sin Cara. Henry ended up eliminating Sin Cara in the end to win. SmackDown ends with Henry and Randy Orton staring each other down.

Totally expected Henry to be Orton's next opponent. Wouldn't mind seeing Henry getting a reign.

Hmmm... somewhere else I read that Bryan cashed in his MITB for the shot at Del Rio. I really hope that was erroneous information or they just stuck a fork in any remaining shreds of credibility that Bryan had left...

Looking forward to almost all of this SD.
Henry winning is kinda crappy but he can get his title shot I guess.
And I thought the SD MITB could ONLY be cashed in on a WHC?

I guess Christian was selling his injuries. Bryan losing again was BS, why put him in a match with Del Rio again? The new WWE champ shouldnt be having matches on Smackdown anyway. Gabrel/Kidd should be awesome and Im glad Henry is getting a shot in the main event. Hopefully this works out better than '06.
Just saw where WZ says Bryan cashed in. I really hope this is not true.

Lmao Orton vs. Henry is honestly, THE worst possible title match I could think of. Months and months of buildup as an unstoppable monster and the one to finally beat Henry will be....Randy ing Orton. Smackdown. |

MITB cashes in for the SD! title |

Its confirmed that Hunico was under the Sin Cara mask. Hopefully Misitco returns next week.
