LOL at "JAAKS" And they could have explained the Sheamus thing more, people reading it might have no clue why that matters.

It's pretty cool (and kind of surreal) to see wrestling figures getting mainstream press.

In the past, figures featured generic body parts that limited movements. To give kids more dynamic play, Mattel redesigned each figure with new articulating joints to replicate the wrestlers' signature moves and poses. I love this part the best we did have DA's from Jakks before Mattel took over making WWE figs i find that kinda funny

Yeah the whole idea that they added in a bunch of articulation or ability to do more moves isn't really true at all. The fact that they're making less accessories, rings, environments etc actually makes it LESS like the product on TV... But I wouldn't expect a fluff PR piece to really have a lot of truth in it.
Mattel has done a ton of good with their WWE figures like added more paint apps and scale, so they probably should have just said that instead of fabricating stuff.

"While it is a licensee, Mattel said it doesn't get tipped off as to WWE's character plans. "We find out the same time the fan finds out,"
Orrly? Because at SDCC in an interview I distincively remember hearing that WWE was "giving them info on talent"
So yeah.

"A new shade of white was also developed to match the light skin tone of Sheamus for his figure."
It felt so random to read that in there. LOL
