...after 20+ years as a fan, I finally got to meet Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. He's a huge hero of mine, and I'm willing to bet he's a herof of pretty much everyone in the Classics forum. He can't talk much due to his surgeries, but his wife was there and communicates for him. I told him how much I'd enjoyed him over the years, and told a little story about how my Grandfather never cared much for wrestling but he would sit in his chair and listen to Bobby & Gorilla as though it was the radio, and just crack up laughing at their stuff. He got a kick out of that. Anyway, Bobby was in good spirits and considering everything he's been through, he looked great. Thought you guys might want to know. Here's my pic!

One of my all time favorites! I got to meet him back in his WCW days. He was very nice and a totally friendly guy. He even took time out to show us pictures of his daughter who was in college at the time. Probably, one of my favorite wrestling personalities I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

breaks my heart to see Heenan that way.
THE best Heel manager ever IMO and absolute legend.I consider his shoot interview required viewing for any wrestling fan.

That's so awesome! I wish I could meet him. So sad he's in the condition he's in now.
