This place after PPVs is really  in horrendous. NONE of you know where this is going, yet you are already shi**ing all over this. Punk doesn't need the title to be the main centerpiece of this storyline. Right now it is a big confusion with Del Rio cashing in thanks to Kevin Nash and HHH counting Cena down for 3 with his foot on the ropes, but every single one of you will be tuning into Raw tomorrow night. Common sense is just so rare nowadays |

Anyone wanna start placing bets on when Nash tears his quad? He'll probably just be Del Rio's bodyguard. I couldn't see WWE putting that dinosaur in the ring as a regular performer. (although he will still probably get injured) |

Well enjoy your short time with the title Del Rio. Clearly all a set up for a Rey title win tomorrow night in his hometown over his biggest rival of the last year.

so what were to happen if they went with the 'planned' Del Rio vs Cena match and Punk was the one who cashed in the MITB.... Best PPV ending ever?

Wait so ARD won the WWE title? Yes he did! ;D I just saw pictures. I don't understand the finish but I'll read more later. I pretty much got everything wrong predicting wise tonight so that sucked.  I think I only called that Kelly would retain and that was something I wanted to be wrong about..  |

The ending has me conflicted on the show, big time.
Opening match was solid, although I'm still pissed off that they didn't think Morrison/Truth was important enough for a Pay-Per-View match. That rivalry has more build than anything going right now, and yet they're still not given a proper one on one Pay-Per-View match? How stupid is that?
Sheamus/Mark Henry was entertaining. I love what they've been doing with both of these guys lately, and while I didn't expect a classic match, they worked a pretty solid "big man" bout. Finish didn't bother me, as it's pretty clear that they didn't want to kill Sheamus' credibility or give Henry a loss right away.
Cee-Lo's performances were awful. Don't get me wrong, I like Cee Lo a lot, but a wrestling show is no place for a performance, especially one that people paid for. The one solid bit to come out of it was the fact that it appears the Bella's have been reduced to nothing more than dancers again, which is where they belong, considering they're both awful at nearly everything.
Diva's title match was fine for what it was. I thought it went a bit too long, but regardless. I'm all for this Beth and Natalya thing, but I think having her lose this time around was the right way to go. In fact, I'd like to see Kelly beat her a couple of times. Then, Beth finally just snaps and destroys her in a match, winning the title. Almost as if she's holding back right now. Their aren't many diva's around right now to give fresh match ups, so anything to drag this out a little while sounds like a plan to me.
Bryan/Barrett was a solid match. Didn't really see that finish coming, and I was hoping Bryan would get the victory, but a good match nonetheless. Unfortunately, I see this leading to Bryan eventually putting his briefcase on the line against Barrett and losing it.
World Title match was excellent. I know it's time to move on at this point, but Christian and Orton have really had an incredible run and they should be really proud of what they've accomplished these last four months. It's disappointing that WWE truly doesn't believe in Christian enough to just give him a little longer with the belt. Tonight proved, in no uncertain terms, that Christian can't beat Randy Orton, and I don't like that. I really thought letting Christian at least get one other program in with the belt would be beneficial, but hey, what ca you do?
Cena/Punk had another absolutely fantastic match. Was it as good as Money in the Bank? Not a chance, but it was still excellent and I commend both of them. Cena has really found his way in this program and working with Punk seems to have done wonders for him. There isn't much else I can say regarding the match itself.
The finish, and aftermath, however, is where things get strange. What was the point of the foot on the rope? Was it just to protect Cena? Could Punk not get the clean win over him? Because with everything else that happened, that seems like a total moot point.
Kevin Nash's involvement made no sense to me, but I assume it leads to some feud with Punk and alliance with Triple H. Del Rio cashing in was a letdown from my standpoint. I'm just not sold on the guy like a lot of people are and I don't think this was the time to do it. Punk is too hot right now to be anywhere but the top of the ladder, and this makes that challenging.
Not to mention Del Rio has had no heat at all coming into tonight. Hell, he wasn't even on the card until the show started and he was featured on the losing team. I just don't think it was the right time or place.
I'm willing to see how this all plays out, though. Unfortunately, I felt like I was watching a TNA Pay-Per-View the last five or so minutes of the show. It was like a whole bunch of explosions with no substance.
