Really slow and fidgets. Work on your spacing.

I think the movements are alright but it is quite stiff. Main problem is that its slow, I think you may be using too many frames, you need to space it out more in each frame, especially on falling and fast movements. Reactions could be better too.

I know what you were going for i think...you were trying to make it smooth.. I understand that but space it better so it can look better. Also work on stiffness which to say is try to move every joint in every frame as much as possible.

Pretty good animation here man, though yes it was slow I don't really think that it's because of the amount of frames (though you should still cut a few out) but more because it isn't spaced. Spacing is where you start off moving the joints a small amount then gradually increase and then slow them down again, of course you wouldn't do this over the entire animation - you would split it into parts, like in this case you would have the jump preparation, the you would have the lift off to the peak of the height in the moonsault, after that it gets a bit trickier - you then space the fall so that the largest movement is on the frame that lands on the stick or the one just before, then you kind of continue on the spacing but on a smaller scale with the stick bouncing up the slowing as it reaches the peak of its height then speeding up as it hits the ground, with the other stick you'd just do the reactions the way I mentioned earlier (if you don't understand all that you can PM me and I could send you some .pivs of my animations so that you can kind see how it works). So besides the speed of it there were some other problems like there were a few fidgets in the back around the jump, the legs seemed to stop moving towards the end of the jump preparation, the back movements looked a little off during the moonsault, like the back kind of was in one part there quickly moved to the next with no real flow to it - at the same time the arms also had this problem and finally the reactions were lacking. Sorry if it seems like I'm being overly negative but yeah all in all with some work this could be a very good animation, also there is no major stiffness whatsoever which is great and something that you should try and continue to do. Hope you make some more soon as your pretty close to getting really good at these.
