Just another query here:
Is there any visible difference between the series 6 Tatanka and series 9?
Same question with the Series 7 Razor and Shawn with the Series 10 figs? or were they just reproductions to boost the numbers in the series?

Nope. Just reproductions. Atleast, that's what I've been led to believe. I sure hope there isn't, or that means I have more to collect!

No, they were basically re-releases of the same figure.

Just another query here: Same question with the Series 7 Razor and Shawn with the Series 10 figs? or were they just reproductions to boost the numbers in the series? Ta Of course, the Shawn and Razor figures that were released in the later blue carded set came in two versions: those identical to the original releases and Shawn in black and Razor in purple. Out of packaging, there is no difference between the two Tatanka figures, or the first release versions of the blue carded Razor and Shawn.

Tatanka was a last minute replacement for a Mega Maniacs Brutus Beefcake and the the exact same. Original line-up: Besides Tatanka, the white HBK and red/black Razor, Smash was also re-released on Tag Team blister... exact same figure, but with a mask.

On a related note, the Rick Steiner figure seen in the prototype would've been about 300 times better than the one that was released with the Demolition lower body.

I don't know what the "wtf" is about, but I'll clarify. The hasbro Rick Steiner figure that was actually produced had the lower body of Demolition, with singlet shorts painted on and the boots red instead of black. So basically Steiner looked like he was wearing studded undies over his singlet.

Still a great figure, though.

I doubt anybody has any solid proof for this question, but, did Brutus Beefcake figures sell very well at the time? He already had one repaint, and maybe it was just Hasbro being lazy, but a second repaint seems a little odd unless he was flying off the shelves or something.

I believe Beefcake was tagging with Hogan at the time so a repaint would have made sense and been cheap to make.

Does anyone know why Beefcake was removed?

^ If I'm correct, Beefcake left the WWF.

You are correct, as a team they were known as the Mega Maniacs with Jimmy Hart as their manager. That Brutus would've been perfect with mail-away Hogan. Brutus left WWF, so no Mega Maniac figure.
