First off, thanks Bill and Tom. Im a legends collector and i didnt know until recently that mattel are putting the legends on matty collector which is fine i suppose if your from the States but if your in the UK or other parts of the world then isnt the shipping going to be sky high?? Id love to subscribe to matty collector but its the shipping prices that put me off. As for the molded clothes, thats something im a fan of, reason being is sometimes they just look too big especially t-shirts, sometimes theres just too much detail on accessories and it causes it to be crammed in where as molded clothes doesnt have that restriction. Some cloth is good but i find for the most part molded looks better. I dont know why people are talking about stains..i mean if your a collector the last thing your going to get is a stain seeing as we are so careful with our figures. I guess some collectors like to get really personal with their action figures(Hence the word ACTION Figure). Or maybe when they are on the computer and siping on a juice box they might spill some on the toy in their hand at the time. ;D

Pretty informative. I'm a legends nut so I'm happy there will be 2 flashbacks per elite series. I was pretty dissapointed tht legends were going exclusively online but it makes the most sense for mattel right now. I like how he said they are trying to build the legends brand back up again. I just wonder why Jakks classics were the hottest around and Mattels which are far better IMO didn't do well for them. I wouldn't say it was the attire choices or the character selection because all of the wrestlers that were made definatly deserve to be in the legends line. I did have a problem finding them in stores and the price point may turn some people off I guess. Thanks for the interview guys Yea but the Jakks Classics were made available world wide maybe if mattel did the same there have been more interest perhaps? This has been said many, many times. But in case you didn't see it, it was not Mattel's choice to not send Legends to other countries. The retailers chose which lines they want to sell in their stores, and Mattel stated that the retail stores in countries outside the U.S. did not want to offer the Legends line.

plastic shirts suck.
so not only do we now have to pay on average $18 for one Elite (at retail) now the quality is going to suffer because of the switch of shirt materials. That is an absolute horrible decision. The whole POINT of the Elite line is "highly detailed authentic ring attire"...no one wears rubber shirts.

awesome, Tom picked my question about the possibility of Basics coming with accessories. Shame they aren't!

No one's boots, or ring attire is made out of plastic. First, you complain about the price. Then you complain that the shirts are no longer cloth, which was made (I thought) pretty clear that soft goods (i.e. shirts) are getting more expensive. So what is it that you want? Prices to be more reasonable, or prices to be higher and keep all shirts cloth?

Thanks for the Q&A. Glad to hear Flashbacks are in every Elite series. One question I wanted to know was about the mysterious legends two pack in the Vince promo since the Rockers are on Matty.com. Also curious if we could possibly see tag teams on Matty.com beyond the Rockers.

Boss Bill said that there may be one, may be two flashbacks per Elite series. So we're looking at 10 Flashbacks at the very least.
Let's not get excited here that's there's a guaranteed two flashbacks per series.

So the 'Legends Series' will only be sold on Matty Collecter,But 'Legends' will still be included in the Elite and DM line?
Is that Correct?

Or plastic boots? Or plastic shorts?

Check out the great interview I just posted with Bill Miekina on the first post. Cool success story and one of Mattel's most passionate designers speaks out.

Bill is a cool dude. You can tell he is into wrestling and I'm glad Mattel has him working for them.

Bret didn't have the title at Canadian Stampede. Undertaker was champion at the time. Bret won it from him a month or so later. They should really check details like that on the Defining Moments line, I think. I'm glad we're getting an extra belt with the figure, but it's that kind of oversight that led to stuff like the wrong date on the Shawn Michaels DM figure.

If they want to up the price they need to keep the damn fabric shirts.
