i dont understand why they have to have a private event when they obviously have fans that want to buy their stuff are they ashamed of there product? Probably so they could sell tickets... |

Ashamed of their product? ....it was a private press event. It wasn't meant for the fans. It's no different than Toy Fair where only press and distributors are allowed. This was meant for the press to promote the new Kurt Angle figure being partners with the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

No tickets were sold. You had to be invited. Last minute 20 lucky fans in the area who pay attention to Twitter were allowed in as well. Otherwise this was just for the press and other important people. Ringside was there along with Spike TV, Jakks team members, myself, and other people from the media. You will see/hear more about it most likely this week.

Cool pics thanks for sharing! I'll definitely pick up the Hogan/Abyss pack. I know it's a re-issue but having the DI4 Hogan head (repainted) is a nicer look than the DI2 head. Just seems better scale wise. Really diggin the Kurt Angle exclusive as well.

No there was no SDCC AJ figure? Where did you hear that? What was revealed last night was Kurt Angle's new ShopTNA figure coming this Fall. Part of the proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. I believe it was in this post or the SDCC post but not sure which place. Somebody said they posted a pic on Facebook or Twitter but I never seen it they said something about it being RI. |

IMPACT Wrestling Fan you have connections at Jakks correct? You need to pass along word that they should look into the quality control of their product. I don't know if you saw my "Thanks Jakks" thread below but my Angelina Love figure fell apart right out of the package.

It looks like JAKKS has settled into a comfort zone of main event guys - Sting, Anderson (dressed as Sting, so more Sting), Jeff Hardy, RVD and Hogan. I don't expect to see any more real tag teams or X-Division guys. It seems like JAKKS is playing it safe and trying to squeeze the maximum profit out of the license.

Why are people saying the abyss and hulk pack is a re-release? I thought it's obvious that they are just figures placed in the new packaging to show it off The Hogan they showed off has a repainted DI4 head with a Hulkamania bandanna which we haven't seen released yet...on a DI2 body. If it was just to show off the packaging I would think they would just slap the DI2 Hogan in there without any changes. But who knows, I wouldn't be surprised either way... |

There's no excuse for it, but if you're concerned just write to customer service at Jakks and they may help you. They replaced broken parts for me years ago when I bought an item. That's before I knew anyone there either. It's worth a shot. Worst case is they can't help you. |
