Im actually suprised by the amount of love for E&C.
now dont get me wrong-I liked them too and thought they were pretty good but I didnt think many people thought of them as their absolute faves.
but from the results in the nominations then the 2 polls so far they are obviously far more popular than I thought

i would say the Dudleys and Edge and Christian. Both revolutionized tag team wrestling in the WWF during the attiude era, and The Dudleys were huge in ECW and all over the world. No one has accomplished for than the Dudleys, tag team wise, to me. Thats why I picked them both.

I get the love for the Dudleys, but Edge and Christian shouldn't have made it past the first round imo. There is absolutely no doubt that The Midnight Express were the "greater" tag team. I'm also shocked that Demolition are 3rd to last in the poll right now. I thought everyone loved them as much as I do (my #1 favorite team ever).

I think its just cause I can pick the Dudley's big title reigns apart. Like ECW, there really wasnt any top notch tag teams. They beat who? Gangstas? Public Enemy? Pit Bulls? I mean really, nobody that would rank in the Top 50...possibly even Top 100 of Tag Teams. Not to mention they held the title 8 times in 3 years....8 times in only 3 years? WCW titles shouldnt even freaking count...It wasnt WCW, it was a joke. WWE/F titles...Ill give that to them, there was a lot of great tag wrestling back then. Then we move into NWA/TNA....NWA Tag Titles any more are a joke. But then it falls back to who did they feud with? LAX? I mean they freaking lost the Tag Titles to Samoa Joe? WTH? Road Warriors went through the likes of teams like Steiner Bros, Midnight Express, R&R Express, Nasty Boys, Demolition Brain Busters went through teams like Rockers, R&R Express, Midnight Express, Strike Force Steiners went through teams like Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Harlem Heat, and numerous teams in Japan. Hart Foundation/Bulldogs had to go through the ENORMOUS tag team rosters of the 80s and 90s in the WWF. Dudleys have the accolades to compare with others but they were just so far below the tag team greats. Just my personal opinion.

The fact that the Dudleys have more votes than the Steiners, Brain Busters, & Demolition is a crying shame. Boo this world.

Children man.....children. Seriously, dont be so partonising, different strokes for different folks, doesnt make them children... Its not really patronising as so much a fact. This board is dominated by a younger generation. They're naturally going to vote for a team like Dudley Boyz or Edge & Christian because they werent alive or around when Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, IMO, were proving they were one of the top 3 tag teams of all time. Its one thing that really bugs me about "All Time great" polls and votes is that most of the younger generation wont go back and watch stuff the previously happened so they automatically write it off as dull or boring. Thats why I tend to like a more older stand point (preferably older then myself) to do rankings and polls because the chances of them actually not only living through it but also going back and rewatching it, are much greater.

I personally don't, but perhaps some people just think The Dudley Boyz are better?

I personally don't, but perhaps some people just think The Dudley Boyz are better? My point exactly, greatness isnt just shown in techincal skill, if so Charlie Haas would be WWE champion, you also need fans to connect to you, and if the majority like the Dudleys over other teams, children or not, they are the better team

It honestly has to do with the age range on this forum. 85% of which couldnt pick Tully Blanchard out of a line up.
