News: It has been reported that The Undertaker who was slated to compete in the World Wrestling Foundation World Title Tournament on the first ever WWF RAW this Thursday has been brutally attacked and injured. It is unknown at this point who committed this act, but the Taker is not medically cleared to compete. Sources say that a mystery opponent will take his place in the first round bout against Triple H on Thursday and is to be an individual that was just recently signed on the spur of the moment. ***UPDATE***
We've gotten word backstage from World Wrestling Foundation official Jim Cornette that the mystery opponent is in the arena right now, getting ready for his match later on tonight on the first ever RAW at 8:00! When asked to comment Jim said "You know, I don't want to give away who it is, but I will say that this performer has made quite a big impact in the past on professional wrestling and was able to destroy a lot of opponents in the ring. He's facing HHH tonight, who's no slouch, but this guy is a force to be reckoned with!"
Tonight WWF RAW debuts from the Manhatten Center and will feature four first round matches for the WWF Title Tournament ...
Fist round bouts: HHH vs MYSTERY OPPONENT Mankind vs The Rock Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels Stone Cold vs X-Pac
Check the main board later tonight for results!
