July 4 2011: World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Board Of Directors votes out Vincent Kennedy McMahon as CEO. The board voted in Shane McMahon as the new CEO during the same meeting. Shane McMahon was brought on as the new CEO to revamp the World Wrestling Federation for the future and to breath fresh air into the corporation.
July 12 2011:Shane McMahon announced the end of World Championship Wrestling. The following were released the next day, All staff members, including referees. Upcoming talent Zeke, Ryan Estepp, Veteran WCW Upper cared talent. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, any and all former ECW talent. Kevin Nash, The Big Show (did not resign) and a few others who refused to resign under the new World Wrestling Federation.
July 14 2011: Shane McMahon has a talent meeting with the remanding World Wrestling Federation and former World Championship Wrestling talent. The meeting was short and Shane McMahon simply asked several World Wrestling Federation stars to leave the company. Those stars names have not been released to the public yet.
July 15 2011: Shane McMahon sold the WCW studios and production equipment, sold the ECW franchise to a unknown buyer however once the purchase was made it was revealed it was only video rights. Shane McMahon also sold the rights to the NWO to Terry "Hulk" Hogan. He also resigned Hulk Hogan to a five year deal including merchandising and marketing. On this day, Shane McMahon announced he refused to renew the television deal with WFTV and has signed a new deal with PICTV, The Main Event broadcast will be airing there from now on. The Broadcasts new season has yet to be announced, and it's said it will be a three hour broadcast.
July 15 2011: Shane McMahon signed a one year contract with "The Icon" Sting and renewed "The Warrior" current deal. However the WWF decided not to renew the following staff members deal's TAZ, Dustin Rhodes, Harlee James (Referee) Triple H (wrestling contract) however he will still work at WWF head quarters. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has been in talks about resigning but nothing has come from it as of today.
The following information was released on the World Wrestling Federation web site:
World Championship Wrestling Champion Shelton Benjamin will be allowed to keep the championship and defend it until further notice. His next defense will be against Christopher Daniels on the next Main Event program. The match stipulation will be, if Christopher Daniels wins the WCW Championship he will be allowed to choose the fourth member of the faction known as "Golden Fortune" (formerly known as the Four Horsemen)
Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton changing directions yet again?! It seems so since coming across former WWF Champion Cody Rhodes. The dark mind set of the once Dashing one has been put The Viper in another situation, after Cody injured Orton's partner Dave Batista. Cody Rhodes went on to wrestle several others and has been trying to rearrange their faces and Randy Orton has stepped up once again for the WWF Universe and Superstars to stop this once "dashing" now "demented" Cody Rhodes!
"The Natural" Nick Nemeth looking to the final spot in "Golden Fortune" he has been impressing the trio for a number of weeks and if Shelton Benjamin can over come the odds and defeat Christopher Daniels he maybe able to add him to the group. However if Christopher Daniels wins he can choose anyone on the roster! This could be disastrous to the group!
Sheamus preparing for Iron man match with Ted Dibiase Jr to unify the Championships. He went home to his home country and began preparing like a Celtic Warrior would! But will it be enough to defeat the billionaire son Ted Dibiase Jr? Everyone will find out when these two meet in a 30 minute Iron man match on the debut broadcast of The Main Event on the new network!
The Peeps finally flew away? Christians new found attitude has cost him some fans, once the fan favorite now the most hated? He came back on the final episode of WCW Thunder and took out the Untied States Champion Kofi Kingston proclaiming himself the new Untied States Champion claiming he deserved it! How will The Real Champion Kofi Kingston handle this once they meet again?!

Ted Dibiase Jr To Walk Away?!
Shocking allegations to be true? The WWF champion Ted Dibiase Jr contract will expire the night of the Iron man match! But in Ted Dibiases Jr contract there isn't a 90 day no compete clause or any stipulation for him wrestling for any other company. Now Shane McMahon the new chairman has not made any statement about this, but if Ted Dibiase Jr doesn't resign, and he defeats WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus to unify the Championships. He could walk out and take the championship to the competition! Especially since the WWF has come to a network who sponsors a lot of the competition as well!
Many in the locker have said, Ted Dibiase Jr wouldn't dream of walking since he has had an amazing career in the WWF! Ted Dibiase Jr is the second longest reigning Intercontinental champion and unpinned. He has never been pinned for the three count since coming to the WWF he was undefeated until Vince McMahon allowed Steve Austin to join the triple threat Intercontinental Championship to settle Austin's rivalry with Randy Orton who was also in the match. Austin ended up pinning Randy Orton and winning the Intercontinental Championship! Which means Ted Dibiase Jr lost the title but was never pinned, he had a rematch with Austin but it ended with a DQ when Randy Orton got involved! He has also resurrected the career of Goldust, and was formerly involved with former Women's Champion Maryse! He has wins over some of the greatest superstars ever to be in the WWF as well. So why would he walk away from all of this?
