It may have lots of deco, but I want every last piece of deco possible. I would've thought you of all people would understand my gripe about the tattoos. This is an higher priced exclusive, and therefore I expect complete accuracy - leaving tattoos off that should be present is inexcusable, IYAM. Call it nitpicking/bitching if you want, I don't care. The black sheep, the Misawa boot and the lightning bolt on his shoulder blade were on Elite 6, so why leave them off this exclusive? It's the lack of the tattoo behind the ear, that pisses me off the most though. I don't understand why it's not on there, because we never saw it properly until he shaved his head and this fig has a shaved head and so it should be on there. Mattel have even confirmed that the next elite will have it, and that one will have hair, so it makes no sense as to why they didn't put it on the one with no hair, but they will put it on one with hair, where it will be less visible. As I said in the reveal thread, I would expect this type of thing from JAKKS but not Mattel. This figure was also supposed to be a regular release in an Elite line, meaning that they had a budget for the amount of deco they could give the figure, bearing in mind that there were also supposed to be five other figures along side of it, right? That's why I'm not mad. No one even mentioned the tattoo behind the ear until I asked Mattel in a Q&A thread, which is why it blows my mind that people seem so up in arms over it. They said it would be on the next Elite Punk, and while this is an exclusive, it was already announced, and more than likely already in production when they said the next Punk. If you want to get angry and throw out the Jakks card, over a few small tattoos, that's your thing... but need I remind you Jakks never gave him sleeves, in the least bit? That all of THEIR CM Punk figures look WAAAAAAAAAAY more incomplete than all of Mattel's? Including this one? If this were Jakks, his tattoos would be no where in the ballpark of accurate, his trunks would be flat green with small black stars, and he'd have the same old generic kickpad mold that would probably be solid black too. This is a FAR cry from "Jakks-esque", and it's a slap in the face to even compare the two. The CM Punk Exclusive should be IN-STOCK this week. As soon as it comes in we will pack the PRE-ORDERS as feverishly as we can. There are a ton a orders for this figure but we will fulfill the orders as fast as we can. Can we take Pre-Orders for the Ice Cream Bars? - Trevor Ringside Excuse me while I dance. ...btw, I only dance "the monkey". Amen, broski. And I'm dancing with you on the word that the Punk should be in stock this week! OMG!! Can't wait to get it!

I'm also limited in my dancing, but for anyone who remembers the 80s sitcom Perfect Strangers, I'm about to do the dance of joy!

That's the point - nobody should have even needed to mention it, because it should've been a given that it's on there. The bottom line is, if Mattel are going to produce a bald/shaven headed Punk then that tattoo - which could be seen plain as day once he lost his hair, should be on there - no excuses. There's no defence for missing it out.

Went ahead and ordered it. I will probably leave this in the box or display it loose with the mask on so I'm not too worried about the tattoo behind his ear. I will definitely be pre-ordering his Nexus version Elite and I fully expect that figure to have the tattoo.

his trunks would be flat green with small black stars, Hey that sounds like Mattel's Over the Limit CM Punk figure! Except that the deco didn't stop at stars, and included a brand new headscan, and full tattoos (in black) - which was explained that corners were cut to stay in budget. The only thing that figure lacked was full color tattoos, and camo... which *GASP*, the exclusive has. Seriously, some of you guys need to get past the mentality of, "THEY IZ OUT TO GET US!" Mattel STILL gives you WAAAAAAAAAAY more than Jakks did by way of detail and quality. Comparing the two is grasping for straws. ---And to the "I am paying more for an exclusive, so my money should be going further" - correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Mattel set the price on the Punk. Talk to the folks at RSC.

Talk to the folks at RSC. I'm not saying MATTEL IZ OUT TO GET US, I merely want an accurate figure. Anyway, I don't expect you to agree that Mattel have messed up, because you work for them. BTW, I took this from your website: Typically, I am a stickler for realism when it comes to ANY kind of collectible, be it at any scale. I generally want size accuracy, as much detail as possible, dead on likeness, and realistic proportions. Don't tell me that it wasn't possible for Mattel to put that tattoo on there, because I don't believe it for one second.

Don't tell me that it wasn't possible for Mattel to put that tattoo on there, because I don't believe it for one second. Right, I know what I wrote on my own site, and GENERALLY that is what I want, but I also have realistic expectations when it comes to 1:12 scale action figures, especially when they are produced at the quantity which a company like Mattel makes. As far as "working" for Mattel goes, I am not on salary from them, I am independently contracted with them. When I have negative things to say, I say them... However, I also understand why they do some of the things they do, realistically I don't expect the moon of them. You're still coming off like you think Mattel cut a few tiny tattoos off to ruin a figure, I get it, you want a completely accurate CM Punk, so do I. That doesn't take away from how awesome this figure came out, I am still very happy, as are a lot of other folks.
