Pierce Brosnan's The November Man.
First movie in over a month. Pretty decent Spy & Thriller film.

Jurassic Park
It was made in the early 90's and most movies STILL don't look as good as it does.

Starting to watch a few old-school VHS movies I picked up dirt-cheap. This may have been the first time I seen Pinocchio and I thought it was great. I enjoyed it.

Another VHS tape I decided to watch. Awesome movie!! Definitely worth the .25 cents I paid for it.

Its between Raiders & Jurassic Park for my favourite Spielberg movie. I might butcher this a bit, but one of his first movies was going to be about a farm family who is being terrorized by a group of aliens. One of the aliens gets terribly hurt and the others leave it in the field to die. The daughter of the family finds it and convinces the family to take it in and help it. The injured alien (once better) helps them fight the aliens that discarded it. The studio he was with (can't recall) didn't like it because they couldn't make a family movie that was a borderline rated-R movie. Speilberg then re-wrote the scripts into two separate movies: E.T. and Poltergeist. FACT.

Tusk.
Fantastic. Exactly what I was expected it to be. Depp killed his role too.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade The Blind Side cheers to Indy, The Blind Side, I just despise that movie & the oscar win/nominations it received, freakin' afternoon special with terrible acting IMHO but understand if ya like it; it just grinds my gears ***** Three On A Match - Bogart, the original A+ player in a small role...really good film IMO about kidnapping - I've seen 24 or 25 of his now The Third Man - Joseph Cotton & Orson Welles; pretty decent twist & turn suspense film, but the music kind of threw things off the serious track a bit

That movie really mastered the sidekick/group dynamic adventure with a comedic mix & Spielberg even lifted the rolling ball of doom from Journey for Raiders - I was stunned that it wasn't an original idea but more of an homage

I watched LT: The Life and Times on one of the Showtime channels this past weekend. Pretty good "warts and all" documentary on Lawrence Taylor, one of the biggest figures in American sports of the 80s. Does a great job getting over how large he was (especially in New York City/New Jersey) at his peak, and his troubles since his playing days ended in the 90s.
