Boyhood (2014)
A landmark film unlike any I've seen before it. Filmed over an 11 year span, Boyhood shows the growth of a young boy to adulthood with the characters literally growing up before your very eyes. What I experienced was more like living a life than watching a movie because it was impossible for me to watch this family without thinking of my own journey. Many of Mason's experiences are ones I've experienced also, including transferring schools, losing friends, having an abusive step-father, being in an unsuccessful relationship, and just trying to find your place in the world. The movie shows us what other coming-of-age films do not, life in its true form. Boyhood is a cinematic achievement and I give it my highest recommendation.

PrideJust a fantastic movie. Absolutely magical. I'd say some Oscar worthy performances in this one. Not ashamed to say I was tearing up at certain moments!

Watching the documentary Knuckle. It's about Irish and English bare knuckle boxing. Heaps great. I realize that I sound a wee bit more British. Haha.

Maze Runner was really awesome. Great acting from everyone involved. I hate when people say it's like hunger when it's honestly not. It's nothing like it. Is it because it's in the future and the main character is a teenager ? Idk but it's still an awesome and fun movie

Superbad was awesome.....the true comic standard is if something is funny on repeat viewings. For that? Superbad makes the great comedy list.
my last was the Conan remake. utter dreck.
1) I liked Momoa as Conan
2) great supporting cast(aside from Nichols)
3)decent to good action.
all wrecked by a story with more holes than a net and of course Nichols who is a movie wrecker easily. Also the CGI blood was.....SH*T.

Super 8 - ugh, I actually hate it..first time making it all the way through..never again

Watched the whole trilogy and they were all great in their own way. Loved the original. Man, that one made horror movies cool again. Onto Scre4m.

47 Ronin.
Absolute tosh. Wanted to like it as I'm a self-confessed Japanophile, but no, this was just garbage.
