It's a new year and Most Xtreme Wrestling is back in full effect! We are proud to announce that the next show is coming soon. As soon as construction on the Liberty Ballroom is finished that is! Yes, we are getting a new layout for the arena and we've also acquired new talent to compete in 2007! ECW originals Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Bubba Ray Dudley have signed a one year contract with Most Xtreme Wrestling. We have also learned that former Ring of Honor champion, Austin Aries is in negotiations for an exclusive contract with MXW. There's been so much buzz going on in the MXW offices this week! We urge you not miss a second of action once the first full season of MXW begins. We are estimating a mid-February return with many excellent matches and a few shocking surprises!
This just in..
MXW management has come to a decision that the layout for future shows will change drastically! Most feds have several small shows each week then a big event monthly. Well, we have decided due to time restraints and funding there will be several highlight shows throughout each month. Each show will feature one full match; most likely the main event. Then each month MXW will broadcast one big show with all the action live and in full. We hope that all loyal MXW fans will stand behind us on our decision. The MXW offices came to the conclusion that this format would be better for everyone than simply closing the doors on the product.
We have also learned that Austin Aries has signed a contract with MXW as of 10:04PM on January 4th, 2007! It is not an exclusive contract like we reported earlier but it will allow us to bring another talented athelete in to compete. The contract will have Aries working on a show-by-show basis and at any time may he be pulled from or signed to a show. This will allow Aries to compete anywhere he wishes with everything still being ran by the MXW offices to be finalized.
And on a final note the first MXW Heavyweight Champion is set to be decided on our February return date! Right now the match is rumored to be a battle royal featuring around 15 of MXW's finest.
