I loved him in the ring, to be honest. Hard-hitting style and a great dropkick! But his antics out of it make me lost a ton of respect for the guy.

i didn't know about the lesnar situation so it kinda changes my thoughts!
before that though, i always thought it was strange how he'd be rough with others but angle broke his arm and lesnar broke his neck, yet he didn't seem to want to have a go at those two people with legitimate fighting backgrounds!
also how he treated the guy on tough enough was down right pathetic. paying your dues is one thing but to give someone a proper pasting was the pits and sums up what a tosser holly really was.
and poor bill demott having to try and justify it to the trainees. even by bills body language you could tell that even he couldn't work out why holly acted the way he did.
i'd never usually wish this on anyone but i hope his life reaaly sucks right now!

I was really rooting for him to beat brock for the title at Royal Rumble. I personally liked him.

He's an bunghole, crap on the mic and crap in the ring. Pretty much sums that up. There's no excuse for beating up newcomers. I understand "Paying dues" but nobody should get the hell beaten out of them like Dupree did. And he blamed his neck on Lesnar when he never jumped for the powerbomb in the first place. He's at fault just as much if not more than Lesnar.

Lesnar had no clue that Holly was gonna dead-weight him when he put him in position for the powerbomb, so it's all on Holly IMO for purposly screwing up the move.

it matters if brock dropping him was intentional or not. rather holly sandbagged him or not is irrelevant. i'm not trying to take blame from holly's behavior, however, the number one rule in wrestling is to protect your opponent which, if brock intended to do the move with the disregard he did, than he broke that rule and the blame falls on him.

Holly was the veteran who was suppose to set the example for the rookie. Instead, Holly sand-bagged him and Lesnar, being a rookie, probably felt that he could finish the move safely. Holly is the one who purposly messed up the move, not Lesnar. The veteran went out of his way to make the rookie look bad and payed the price.

Crash and Molly were the only good things that came from Hardcore Holly. His dropkick was nice, but Maven's was better. You can tell just by the way the man acted that he was a d*ck in person. He was nothing special. I can't remember anything he did that stood out to me.

Bob Holly is one of the greatest to never hold the WWE championship.
