Well if Cena got "fired" then they would have to call off Rock and Cena at WM. Wonder how that would work.

^ Yeah like Cena would be fired.. Please..  Not like they haven't "fired" Cena before. Plus I thought it was reported that he had some nagging injuries, and was really just running on fumes at this point. So maybe he could use a break, who knows. I have a feeling that the likely scenario is what some people have already said. Punk will beat Cena, then one of two things will happen: 1) Del Rio cashes in the MITB he just won. Cena is not fired since Punk didn't walk out with the title. 2) Vince comes out and says that since Del Rio won the number 1 contendership, he gets his match right now. Beats Punk, Punk leaves. Either way, Punk wins, Cena wont be fired. Slightly dissapointing, but still that promo from tonight cannot be forgotten. This is still one of the best angles I have ever seen, and that was bar none the best (worked)promo I have ever seen. |

my idea..
RAW before MITB
-Someone from the RAW MITB winds up injured, has to be replaced. Someone in the Nexus gets his spot.
MITB
Raw MITB
-Member of Nexus wins
WWE title
-CM Punk looses
2 idea
IDEA 1
-Nexus member with MITB runs out, gives the MITB to Punk
-Punk cashes in on Cena, wins.
-Cena technically did not loose the match that he was told to loose, so therefore he stays with the WWE.
IDEA 2
-Nexus member with MITB runs out.
-Nexus member cashes in on Cena
-Nexus member defeats Cena, is the new WWE Champion
-Nexus member trys to relinquish the WWE title to CM Punk but...
-Cue Vince McMahon, who comes out, reverses the decision of the MITB cash in, "fires" the Nexus member and Punk and them are taken out.
-Cena remains WWE champion.
They have to put Punk over. He's going to be insanely over in Chicago.

All the Nexus members besides Punk are pure sh*t so why let them win MITB?
Screw that I want ADR to win it.
I think Cena will defend clean and then ADR could either cash in then or he could wait.

Having been there, most of the 2nd show was fairly dull. Miz's beatdown and Vince/Cena pretty much were what had the crowd. No one really cared during the triple threat until Rey did something. A lot of the crowd also left in between tapings.

John Cena's music played but he didn't come out. It stopped and out came Mr. McMahon to a decent reaction. He said that the C.M. Punk suspension has gotten out of hand and the camera man fixed his tie. He said Punk deserved to be suspended for what he said. He said this was about what was right for the fans. McMahon said he really suspended Punk because he wanted limo service and wanted to be on DVDs and such and he wasn't worthy. He then said he fired Punk because he deserved it and he is a punk.
Cena came out to a big reaction even in his third appearance tonight. He asked Vince if that was it? He accused Vince of kicking Punk to the curb and Vince said Punk kicked himself to the curb. Cena said Vince believes in free speech and Vince confirmed it. Cena then made fun of Vince's walk and said that Vince took everyone down because he's a fighter. He wondered why Vince wasn't a fighter now and said he wants to fight Punk. He said if Vince doesn't feel like fighting, he should hang it up.
Vince said he really suspended Punk because be doesn't want to take a chance on Cena. He doesn't want to risk Cena losing to Punk and losing the title and taking it to another organization. He said he will not be embarrassed. Vince said he's afraid of Cena not beating Punk. Cena said he wanted this match regardless of Punk's status. Cena said if he was a fan, this sounds like the match of the year to him. He asked if Vince would suspend him for saying something Vince didn't like.
Vince told Cena not to piss him off. He said not to be Hogan or any of the guys before him. Vince said he doesn't believe Cena can beat him. Cena said to take a chance and give the people what they want. Vince said he doesn't give a damn what the people want, it's his company and he does what is right for them.
Cena said he gets it. He then said it's not what he signed up for. He said he busts his ass for Vince and he believes the belt stands for something. He said Vince is worried that the belt is meaningless, but by sending Punk away he made it meaningless. Cena handed the belt to Vince and walked out. Vince stopped him and followed him up the ramp. He stood face to face with Cena on the ramp and said Punk is reinstated and he has the match.
Vince said that if Punk walks out of Chicago with the title, he is firing Cena.

i think it would be great if Punk beats Cena, takes and leaves with the belt, it lets Cena have off for a month or two, and since Punk "Left with the belt" Vince Unveils a new WWE Championship belt, and a tournament to deterime a new champion and let Del Rio win. so when Cena returns he can fued with Del Rio

The tournament happens after Money in the Bank. At SummerSlam the finals between John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for a new (hopefully not disgusting, although it can't get much worse) WWE Championship. Del Rio wins, Cena gets a month or two off and every goes smoothly. As for Del Rio, he can feud with Mysterio or maybe Morrison (only two faces that come to mind) |

Cena will beat Punk clean unless Punk has resigned a new contract. If Punk is leaving as he is says he will not get a win over SuperCena that can not be avenged.

I like that in two hours they made the situation less intriguing. Though as others have pointed out, Cena does need to take some time off. So this could be a good way of doing it. I just don't like that he was given an ultimatum like that. But after yesterday's promo, it looks like this will be a must buy PPV for me, and I usually only get the traditional biggies (rumble, mania, summerslam). Thank you Punk  |

This entire promo thing would've worked so damn well if it wasn't for a taped Raw... Thank you! Loving how Vince is making the stipulation of the WWE title match, this is better than the Punk/Hardy feud! |
