I'm curious what people will vote as the worst wrestling storyline ever, These are about all the bad wrestling storylines I can think of, I have to go with David Arquette winning the WCW world title for my choice, I think it made all of wrestling look bad when some skinny actor can come in with little training and win their world title, Think all respect, meaning and history to that title went out the window with that one win.

Out of those, it's hard not to say the David Arquette storyline. Although, by mine and others morals & beliefs others are bad but not the "worst" from a wrestling aspect.

I voted the Bossman/Big Show feud, but where is the Val Venis castration? As much as some people here love the Attitude Era, it also had many of the worst storylines ever.

You've picked a few good ones, the Bossman/Big Show, Katie Vick angles were so distateful. The Arquette winning the world title was just plain stupid.

A lot of these I can laugh off, but Hornswaggle McMahon was bad all around. It was painful and went on far longer than it should have.

they're ALL bad!
but i voted for the Mark Henry/Mae Young Birth of a Hand incident....because,while the others all pretty much part of wrestling angles that went wrong,or an attempt to gain some mainstream attention to the organization, the Henry/Mae thing was created for one purpose - to embarass and humiliate Mark Henry ....from the beginning of ti til the end,it added nothing to any WWF programming ,and only served drop a talent down a few notches...

Voted Katie Vick because it was disgusting and just gave a poor view of WWE with that being the top(?) storyline on Raw at the time.

Just to throw a different one out there. Cactus Jack escaping a mental institute, with wcw having a random reporter trying to find him.

Some of these I've been around for, some not (i.e., Arquette.) But I have enough knowledge to know that him winning the Belt, to me, was a kick SQUARE in the balls of Pro Wrestling. Arquette winning the Strap Gets my vote. Didn't Jeff Jarrett win it after him, though?

out of those i'd go with the al snow/bossman/pepper storyline. i cant stand to see any kind of bad treatment to animals, even when it's fictional.
on a side note though, lots of the most famous "bad" storylines in wrestling's "classic" history i don't think are so bad. i'm only talking about stuff from the monday night wars era and before though. i think a huge number of the modern storylines are awful though.

Oh yeah, what about when WWE used Eddie's death to spark a feud between Rey/Chavo? (And the use of it many other times. EX: Batista, Orton)

another bad one was in 1999 when Falir was president of WCW,and his son David had him committed to the insane asylum - yet he was still president! he had Charles Robinson, "Little Naitch" .at the events carrying out his orders for him....and at one point an institutionalized Scott Hall was in there with him,too...

I went with Arquette winning the title but I have to say, Sandman being crucified was one of the biggest "oops, we ed up" deals Ive ever seen in wrestling.

I voted McMahons/HBK God feud, having HBK And God lose was just a huge spit in my face because of my beliefs, the fact that HBK Went along with it was also pretty wrong
Also, can´t believe Cole/Lawler isn´t up there, Cole mocking Lawlers deceased mother was just wrong.

another bad one, in my opinion, was the Hulk Hogan vs The Dungeon of Doom storyline....
from old men in gret makeup living in caves to Hogan being "teleported" to said caves..... just all around cheese, and not in a good way....like trying to combine a low-budget movie script into a wrestling angle...

I like over the top, funny, unrealistic storylines. But the tim white suicide stuff was just downright distasteful and disgusting. Awful stuff that had no right being on television.
