What was Smackdown's best year?

Like the title says, when do you guys think that Smackdown had it's best year?

Smackdown has always been better than Raw IMO, but I think that the best year it had was easily 2003. Great writting and a deep, deep roster. You had Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, and Big Show as the top draws. Chris Benoit, Eddie and Chavo Guerrero, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Rhyno, Tajiri, Hardcore Holly, Billy Gunn, Matt Hardy, Billy Kidman, Rikishi, Sean O'Haire, Jamie Noble, and A-Train made up a very strong mid-card, and many good tag teams in The World's Greatest Tag Team, APA, Los Guerreros, Bashams, Eddie and Tajiri, Angle and Benoit, Too Cool, Big Show and A-Train, and more. You also had the McMahon/Hogan feud which was entertaining while it lasted, and Stephanie and Heyman as general managers was good as well. 2002(the second half) and 2004 would be close seconds for me, but 2003 for Smackdown was one of the best years the WWE has ever had IMO. The only thing that brought his year down for me was that Edge was hurt. The feuds he could have had would have been epic, and many rumors say that 2003 was suppose to be the year that Edge won his first world title before he got hurt.

I thought 2002 and 2009 were great on Smackdown.

I really liked 2004, especially in the summer months with JBL feuding with Eddie and Undertaker and Cena feuding with guys like RVD, Dupree, Booker T, and Kurt Angle (in his role as GM). Then again, that's when I got back into wrestling, so there's probably a bit of bias there.

It had the super 6 (Rey, Benoit, Angle, Edge & Los Guerreros) & a hot feud between Big Show & Brock Lesnar

I liked 2004, but I would say 2002 when Paul Heyman was just given full creative control. The fact that Stephanie was GM made certain that it would not be treated as the B show.

I think it's quite good at the moment. I'd say it's best year was probably 2002-2003 though with the SmackDown six followed by Angle/Brock, the rise of Eddie and Cena etc.

bingo......when Heyman had the reigns he used the talent to the zenith of their ability.think back to the fueds over the tag titles etc.awesome.

its a pity The Billion $ boobjobs insane jealousy of him ruined this tenure.every day was a fight and heymans vision shined through for a certain amount of time though.

2009 was a great year for Smackdown. Loved the CM Punk/Jeff Hardy feud.

SmackDown! was better for me for a lot of years. Since this years' draft, it hasn't been that way.

IMO, SmackDown!'s best year was 2003. Full of great matches and a great roster. 2009 was also really cool to watch.
