EDIT: I solved my own question... but I thought I'd convert this into a related topic for discussion
Would anyone like to share memories/discuss "joke" matches (or finishes) that have taken place in wrestling history?
Basically I mean matches/finishes that the participants are (kayfabe) not taking the contest seriously, and are clearly joking around and not really fighting each other.
Examples I can think of are: HHH vs HBK for the European title on Raw, and the infamous "Fingerpoke Of Doom" segment on Nitro.
Can anyone think of any other examples?
-------ORIGINAL POST-----------
I have vague memories of some HHH vs HBK match where it was like a joke... something is making me think it was a title match... one of them lied down and the other kinda skipped around the ring and ran the ropes for ages before pinning. it was really exaggerated and clearly some kind of D-X joke or something. looking back now it kinda reminds me of the fingerpoke of doom segment from WCW. Pretty sure it was from the attitude era when D-X was around.
Does anyone know the match I'm referring to? I don't think I imagined it...
Its really bugging me I can't find it on youtube or remember any details of when it happened...

Am I the only person that finds this worse than the Fingerpoke of Doom? Don't get me wrong, it was TERRIBLE, but from a "wasting everyone's time persepective", this really was much worse (Though the FoD is worse in pretty much every other category lol). Interesting though that this is remembered more as team, heel antics, while the FoD isn't. Hm...

I know I'm the minority but personally I thought the Fingerpoke of Doom was pretty funny and original. And for me it made sense for Hogan and Nash to settle their (kayfabe) disagreements that split the nWo by agreeing to Hogan getting the title in return for Nash being acknowledged as a kindof second leader. The NWO was always about disrespecting tradition, doing whatever the hell they wanted and being unpredictable so the Fingerpoke fitted right in IMO.

I remember hearing somewhere that it was a spoof of Warrior/HHH at Wrestlemania 12.

Hm... #1- that was for WCW's #1 title. #2- it signaled WCW putting the belt on a tired, old wrestler and the rehashing of a tired, old gimmick as the central part of it's show. That being said, I was offended less by the FOD than watching David Arquette as champ.

HBK/HHH was part of their antics and even getting at Slaughter.

Sting VS Sid Vicious not sure when but was in WCW. Sting destroys Sid and they go to the back before the match ends and come out seconds later with Sid beating Sting up and pins him. Another Sting comes out with string attached to his hand and then wrecks Sid. Fake Sting was said to be Barry Windham. What a piss poor finish.

I remember Brian Pillman vs Kevin Sullivan in WCW had a weird ending and no match took place with Pillman submitting. Hogan vs Jarrett at bash at the beach too was a strange ending.

worst ending for me,EVER,in a match.... WCW Uncensored 1995... WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan vs Big Van Vader in a strap match.... at one point,Ric Flair (who was "retired" by Hogan the previous October) comes out and attacks Hogan....Hogan beats up Flair, then proceeds to carry HIM to all 4 corners, thereby winning the match... let me repeat - Hogan won the match vs VADER by dragging FLAIR to all 4 corners!!! i've heard several stories as to why this was so....the most plausible seemed to be that neither Hogan nor Leon were willing to job to the other,so Bischoff and co. came up with this scenerio....
