WWF Sunday Night Slam

Hey guys,

I recently uploaded footage from an old tape that I can't believe hasn't been worn out after so many viewings, but thankfully it has held up for the most part.

The main part of the video is SummerSlam 1993 live as it was happening on pay-per-view at the time (and I know some might not agree, but I've always been entertained by it).

However, the tape continues and there is some random footage of a soccer game lol, but then it comes back to wrestling and a TV special that aired on USA Network in late August 1994 known as the "SummerSlam Spectacular."

Here it is split up into five parts, and remember that Megavideo only allows you to watch up to 72 minutes at a time if you don't have a Premium account.

No worries, though; you can pick up right where you left off after an hour's wait (again, without a Premium account).

I hope that this sort of thing is allowed here, mostly because I want people to be able to enjoy the matches and other segments that they may have never seen before, including Jerry Lawler and Vince McMahon taking calls in the studio .

I thought about uploading it to YouTube (which, obviously, would make it easier for everyone), but it was easier for me to not have to make a lot of edits if I wanted to post it now.

Plus, leaving in the commercials adds a certain authentic feel to it, at least in my opinion.

So, what are your thoughts of the program (and any of the other Sunday Night Slam episodes that were aired by the WWF in the mid-90s)?

Anytime and thanks! I appreciate the effort for sharing a forgotten show from the 1990's. Its rare you see Sunday Nigh Slam Specials on the internet.

I liked those shows around 1993-1994 when I got back into watching wrestling regularly. They had "main event anywhere around the country" type matches like Yokozuna v. Hacksaw, Crush v. Lex Luger, Typhoon v. Diesel and as a kid, even Blake Beverly v. Razor Ramon seemed big. I saw the Survivor Series Showdown with matches like Marty v. IRS and Doink v. Bastion Booger.

I remember these SummerSlam specials. The one in 93 with Bobby Heenan going off on McMahon for RAW being pre-empted for the next two weeks for tennis was hilarious. And the closing credits to DUCKMAN??? epic!
