I absolutely loved Demolition. And I welcomed the addition of Crush, cause I felt Ax was getting old looking. But I completely forgot about those masks. They looked like gimps in those things. Thank God that didn't last.

On screen, I think Crush was just quietly brought in and introduced by a promo. Demolition said it was to make them even more powerful and dominating. I think this was the first time anyone saw him, although I could be wrong. I just re-watched the episode of Superstars of Wrestling where Crush debuted with Demolition (June 23 1990) and, on that show anyway (can't speak for Wrestling Challenge, etc.), they simply advertised a match with Ax & Smash. When they walked down the aisle, there were three guys instead of two, and Jesse Ventura pointed that out, laughing about it because he knew ahead of time and Vince McMahon (on commentary) was confused. Before Crush removed his entrance mask, Vince asked Jesse who the third man was, and Jesse identified him as Crush. So for storyline purposes on Superstars of Wrestling, he simply walked out with Ax & Smash as a surprise. EDIT: And of course, after I typed all that, I saw the clip I described included after the interview in that YouTube video.

Thanks for the 2nd theme link - I did mean as MP3/4 as I've never found it. Perhaps the person who mentioned they have it could PM me. I liked the 3rd member (and never having known at the time of teams where there is a 3rd person) and thought it was an original idea I always kept Ax, Smash & Crush as heels in my Hasbro federation. Was very pleased when I picked up the Jakks 3-pack.

I always liked demolition better with crush, axe was such a bad wrestler. Really? I liked Ax's brutal style. My favorite spot was when they'd have their opponent on his hands and knees and they'd just do this tandem move when they'd club the guy in the back at the same time repeatedly. Looked awesome.
