Cutting the entire show because Benoit is in it is stupid. I don't understand...what happens when Benoit eventually becomes a larger part of the Nitro storylines? They're just going to stop showing Nitro because of "recording errors"?
What's so funny about Cole saying that at the beginning of RAW is the fact that they then went onto show footage of what happened to Nitro and the video feed was PERFECT, lol.

ugh thats bull ****... eh atleast i get mankind vs. pillman this week I know. I know it is a long time from now, but what will they do when Benoit is featured in the Main Event alot, or when he is World Champion? They will probably just stop MNW all together when the time comes. He left the day after he won the World Title. EDIT: Unless he came out at the end, he wasn't there. WCW Monday Nitro: June 9, 1997 DDP attacks Randy Savage in a limo Juventud Guerrera/Super Calo/Ultimo Dragon vs. Psychosis/Silver King/La Parka INT- Lex Luger INT- Rowdy Roddy Piper/Ric Flair Alex Wright vs. Chris Jericho Malia Hosaka vs. Akira Hokuto INT- Steiner Brothers/Harlem Heat Kevin Greene attacks Steve McMichael Hugh Morrus attacks Konan with a broom INT- Eric Bischoff/Hollywood Hogan Lex Luger vs. Hollywood Hogan INT- Hollywood Hogan/Eric Bischoff INT- J.J. Dillon/Randy Savage/DDP Lee marshall's 1-800-Collect Road Report Jeff Jarrett vs. Dean Malenko (US Title Change) INT- Faces of Fear/Jimmy Hart/Kevin Sullivan Ric Flair/Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Outsiders

That is still apart of the MNW, even though it will be a long time from now. Also, I have this full Nitro on tape, Benoit comes out at the end in a huge brawl and Benoit was shown alot on camera.

Well, at least I have the TV section back on 24/7. I'm looking foward to sitting down & watching the 2002 Rumble tomorrow. BTW, I dont see what the big deal is with the Benoit stuff. 24/7 is for PAYING customers, its not like everyone is watching it. Plus you have the option to pick & choose what you want to watch. If you dont want to, you dont have to watch Benoit. Simple as that.

Watching the Rumble brings back so many good memories as to how good wrestling was in 2002. I've been on a mission to own all the WWF/E PPVs from 2002, & now I've got 9 of the 14. Now I just need Backlash, Vengeance, Rebellion, Insurrection, & Judgment Day.

Next months big ones are weak.
WrestleMania 2- imo, one the the top 5 WORST 'Mania's ever. WrestleMania IX- Meh...... WrestleMania 18- the best of the three, has a few good matches.
I wish they'd put on WM X7, VIII, and 22.
I also wish they'd put that "WrestleMania: The Movie" on there. I've never saw it, any opinions on it?

I also wish they'd put that "WrestleMania: The Movie" on there. I've never saw it, any opinions on it? It's pretty good. The best part of it is Austin talking about everything leading up to his last match.

Found this news regarding the Nitro show:
The June 9, 1997 edition of WCW Monday Nitro was scheduled to air on WWE 24/7 this week, but when introducing the Monday Night Raw from the same date, host Michael Cole explains that there were "recording errors during the Nitro broadcast so we can't bring it to you here." Cole then says there were two huge main events on the show; Hollywood Hogan vs. Lex Luger and Ric Flair & Roddy Piper vs. Hall & Nash. Two brief clips of the encounters are spliced in while Cole mentions the main events.
The Flair & Piper vs. Hall & Nash match was heavily hyped throughout the show. The match ends in a DQ and a huge brawl involving a number of WCW wrestlers erupts afterwards. Chris Benoit is one of the wrestlers involved in the brawl. WWE 24/7 has cut out all footage involving Benoit since the double murder and suicide incident last June, so it would appear that this latest edit is simply following the trend. Benoit was generally involved in mid-card programs and barely mentioned during other portions of Nitro at the time, so it's easy for WWE to cut him out without messing up the shows too much. With Benoit being involved in a heavily hyped main event, it would be very noticeable if WWE skipped this particular match.
However, it is now coming out that the "recording errors" explanation is actually legit, and not a cover-up for Chris Benoit. According to the Wrestling Observer, the master tape WCW gave WWE when the video library was purchased has some major audio issues during the second hour which would make the episode unfit for broadcast. WWE actually tried to get a DVD of the show from someone on the Internet, but believed that the audio quality wouldn't be of broadcast standard. WWE then made the decision to skip that week's episode of Nitro altogether.
