Why don't they have matches outside the 80s?

Santana vs. Savage! This rules! Why did the ref have a towel hanging out the back of his pants? Did he rip them?

This is a classic wrestling sub-board son. . go somewhere else for your late 90's.

August 13th edition of MSG Classics is from SummerSlam 1991. I'm not sure if it's gonna be split into two separate shows like they did for SummerSlam 88 last year.
So be on the lookout!

I'm so mad I missed this week's show. I totally forgot about it until now. Oh well, I'll be buying the Summerslam anthology anyway.

8/20 showed some of my favorites I do not think I ever saw a bad Valentine vs Garvin Match those two were so similar it made for a very hard fought match the other two matches from 1988 were also good.
Then came the one I was really waiting for 1977 Backlund, Rhodes, Graham, Steele, Miavia, and someone who kinda looks like Buddy Rose or Buddy Landel that being Larry Sharpe each one a favorite of Mine. This was apparently my first time seeing Sharpe (because I have no recollection of him in any other matches I have seen from that time) he did not disappoint me and I thought he had a good showing against "Dynamic" Bob Backlund. Miavia and Steele was very entertaining I gotta keep that in mind as how Steele was finding ways to hide the object from the Ref a good learning match for me. Last ( well it was actually the second match) Graham vs Rhodes as different as these two are in appearence, they are also very similar it is always funny that nomatter how much or how little experience a person or team has, If they win by countout or DQ against a champion then they automatically think they win the Gold.
One last note in the Rhodes vs Graham I couldn't tell but if you look in the background someone Comes down to ringside to me it kind looks like Harley Race can anyone confirm that or if he was there as a second or back up for Rhodes

Is it just me or have they been airing the same 4-6 shows over and over and over again. I haven't taped anything in about 2 months because they are just showing the same old stuff.
