How about that one kid Spyder who posted Customs and then died during an Indy Wrestling match when he hit his head? What actually died?! Yep, Dan Quirk. He posted "Quirk's customs" but went under the name Spyder on here too. Here is his Wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Quirk

The GnR Chinese Democracy threads were pretty fun at the time back in like '06-'08, anything to do with The Log, and Hexus of course. Where is Hexus anyway? Hexus was signed by the WWE, went hollywood and now currently spends his days no longer posting on wfigs but rather posting jokes on facebook each friday. he removed me though.

being one of the first 30 or 40 people to ever register here, most of the good memories have long since faded from my adult-addled mind...
i was happy to see some of my personal memories mentioned here, though. "RIP Tre" was a Nick/Erik/Po/Tim invention. as was "wat grap a cold beer wat." I came in 3rd place in the Rocky IV beard-off, something I am still proud about(although these days, at the age of 24, I'm fairly confident I could win it).
too many great memories to name or remember in the decade that has passed. this is my first night posting on WF in over 2 and a half years. I've forgotten a lot of the names but I still remember a whole lot. good times indeed.

Got a pic on any of his customs? He was a really good guy. His Hasbro customs were awesome for the most part. We did business a few times, and he was always fair. I was definitely saddened to hear of his untimely passing.

Looking at figure animations initially brought me to AFR, but seeing other peoples' (then-BCA and WCW Toybiz collections) made me feel as though I belonged. I remember a lot about the stuff that went on throughout the years, but almost all of it is trivial. My time to shine came when I was awarded with an Entertainment mod spot...two weeks before I was shipped off to basic training. What a happy couple of weeks that was, though! "Posed" customs were all the rage when TTL came into effect, the most popular subject of them being that of Steve Corino. Sculpy got two-thirds of their sales thanks to WFers making Corinos. Baity, KDR, M2K, WOJC, Quirk, HeartBreaKid2K...amazing customs everywhere, even though H2K's looked pretty awful with the non-RS heads. I wish I had the $6,000 to shell out for FigureZone's Malenko and MI Smooth piles of crap. FCW (the figure fed, not developmental territory) was THE BOMB...until they switched to a format that played sound and video clips...which my computer couldn't handle at the time. I complained constantly, but they never listened. I was never in a clique, but that didn't stop me from begging them to let me join. AFR's frontpage being hacked almost got me in MAJOR trouble when my mom looked over my shoulder as I first laid eyes on it. Yep, that's all I've got for now.

grape cold beer what for some reason reminded me of RIP Stone Cold, which is still just as funny.
I'm pretty sure I even got a warning bar once for the RIP Stone Cold sigs.
