There have been numerous wrestlers over the years that had name changes that I simply couldn't accept. Here are a few:
Diesel--I have called him this for 17 years, even in WCW. After Vince promoting him to the moon, I couldn't see him as anything else, even his real name.
Earthquake- Avalanche? Shark? No way. Earthquake was a perfect fit.
Elijah Burke--His brash way of speaking just seemed right for Elijah. D'Angelo Dinero just doesn't have the same ring.
Road Warriors- I know they were refered to as the Legion of Doom on occasion in the AWA/NWA, but I heard them called the Road Warriors too often for too many years to forget it.
Alundra Blayze--Not a bad name but Madusa fit too perfectly.

You already know for me the first two but I thought of two more:
Victoria: Tara is just not a good name imo. And I know Lisa as Victoria so that's what I call her when I see her wrestling most of the time.
Awesome Kong: Her wwe name is going to be Kharma and I know I don't really like the name so I will just call her Kong for short.
Mr. Kennedy: I never liked Mr. Anderson so it's still Kennedy to me..
Dudley Boys: Team 3D or whatever tna had to call them didn't stop me from calling them the Dudley Boys.
Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Razor Ramon: Thats the name that seemed to stick with me.

Dudley Boys: Team 3D or whatever tna had to call them didn't stop me from calling them the Dudley Boys. Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Good one. I'm pretty sure The Dudleys wanted to take their name with them but WWE wouldn't let them. Team 3-D is clunky. |

Big Bossman - Was Big Bubba Rogers originally in NWA, then went back to it later but will always be Bossman to me.

Its weird seeing all the LOD hate as I usually think of them as LOD rather than Road Warriors.

I think Legion of Doom is much cooler than the Road Warriors, that's just me.

Same for me, probably because I grew up on LOD in the WWF in 1991 rather than Road Warriors.
It's weird how some names stick and others dont, I know Bryan Danielson as Daniel Bryan.

Absolutely hated Tony Atlas to Saba Simba and Sandman to Hak and also Sheepherders to Bushwackers
And you guys are nuts lol, they will always be the Road Warriors to me, bugged me that Vince dropped that

Those are the main ones I can think of. I'm actually fine with The Roadwarriors, Razor Ramon, and Diesel going by The Legion of Doom, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash instead. Like others, I think of Hawk and Animal more as being The Legion of Doom anyway.
